Character Creation
Character Creation follows the guidelines laid out in Changeling 20 and the OWBN C20 MET conversion Packet. Characters begin with 60xp.
Open Availability: Boggans, Eshu, Ghille Dhu, Nockers, Pooka, Redcaps, Satyrs, Sluagh, Trolls, and Sidhe of Houses Dougal, Eiluned, Fiona, Gwydion, Liam, and Scathach.
Please note that Attribute Traits, Abilities, etc granted by Birthrights and House Boons allow a Character to exceed their normal maximums (Boggans may have Crafts x6, Redcaps can have Intimidation x6, etc). In the case of Birthrights that grant Abilities such as Crafts (the Nocker Birthright, for example), only the type of Crafts chosen for the Birthright may be raised to x6, not all types of Crafts.
For other concepts, please speak with a Storyteller and have an idea of your background.
Restricted Backgrounds:
Arts
Characters choose three (3) Arts at Character Creation which are their 'natural' Arts; these may be improved without a teacher. Any other Arts must be taught by another Changeling.
Restricted Arts (Commoners): Chronos, Naming, Sovereign
Restricted Arts (Nobles): Chicanery, Metamorphosis
OWBN R&U Restrictions
Please note that Chronos, Naming, and the 5th level of Spring are Coordinator Approval, and the Ghille Duh Kith are classified as Coordinator Notification by OWBN Bylaws; the Selkie Kith is classified as Rare, and requires a Council Vote.

As we continue to play with C20, our House Rules continue to be updated. Please continue to let us know if something comes up that you believe requires clarification.
The most relevent change for everyone at the moment is regarding Hanging cantrips.
We're going to try something Eric is allowing in Emerald Rain, but toned down: if you have a standard list of hung cantrips you want for each game, note them in your puppet notes or on an item card, and you may have them (without going through Bunks or challenges) at 3 grades of success.
If you want more than that, you need to see an ST and go through the whole process.
This is designed to speed up the beginning of game and take some of the burden of pre-game casting off of staff.
Let us know how it seems to be working for you over the next few months.

$5 million in cash, valuables stolen in Bristol bank robbery streak; torch used to burn through roofs, vaults By Kitty Worth, Hartford Courant Three unidentified men are wanted by police for brazenly raiding $5 million in cash and valuables from a Bristol, CT bank vault, officials said.
The crew used a gas welding torch to cut through the banks' roofs and vaults.
The burglars pocketed money and items such as jewelry and baseball cards, many of which were heirlooms, Hartford U.S. Attorney Michael Ciarlo's office said in a criminal complaint.

A lot of people are coughing and sneezing. A lot of kids are home sick from school. This spring cold seems to take a lot out of people; it can take weeks to recover. Even worse, in a lot of patients, its turning into things that are much worse: Sinus infections. Bronchitus. Pneumonia. The clinics and urgent care centers are starting to get overworked and crowded; and some people are whispering that, much like Ebola and Aids, this is actually a secret government program put into place by the Obama administration to target and kill off certain populations and ethnic groups.
Well, ok, only anonymous trolls on the internet are saying that. But a lot of people ARE getting sick... at the schools you attend, the jobs you work, and even in your familes. And its only a matter of time before the illness spreads among the Freeholds of the Duchy, as well.
Join us on Saturday, 6/23 at 1pm for our first session back since we took the month off for Beltane!
