Character Creation
Character Creation follows the guidelines laid out in Changeling 20 and the OWBN C20 MET conversion Packet. Characters begin with 60xp.
Open Availability: Boggans, Eshu, Ghille Dhu, Nockers, Pooka, Redcaps, Satyrs, Sluagh, Trolls, and Sidhe of Houses Dougal, Eiluned, Fiona, Gwydion, Liam, and Scathach.
Please note that Attribute Traits, Abilities, etc granted by Birthrights and House Boons allow a Character to exceed their normal maximums (Boggans may have Crafts x6, Redcaps can have Intimidation x6, etc). In the case of Birthrights that grant Abilities such as Crafts (the Nocker Birthright, for example), only the type of Crafts chosen for the Birthright may be raised to x6, not all types of Crafts.
For other concepts, please speak with a Storyteller and have an idea of your background.
Restricted Backgrounds:
- Holdings. Freehold membership will be earned in character, at which point the Holdings background may become available.
- Title. Any PC wishing to begin with a title higher than x2 must be part of a fealty chain. Knights errant are acceptable - speak to us about some of the knightly orders! - but Squires (Title x1) should be sworn to a Knight.
- Influence. Many Influences are inherently banal - please speak to us about any Influences you may want.
- Treasure. At Character Creation, you may freely purchase one Treasure, rated between 1-5 points. Please look over the Treasure Guidelines above and have a rough idea of what you want, to discuss with staff.
Arts
Characters choose three (3) Arts at Character Creation which are their 'natural' Arts; these may be improved without a teacher. Any other Arts must be taught by another Changeling.
Restricted Arts (Commoners): Chronos, Naming, Sovereign
Restricted Arts (Nobles): Chicanery, Metamorphosis
OWBN R&U Restrictions
Please note that Chronos, Naming, and the 5th level of Spring are Coordinator Approval, and the Ghille Duh Kith are classified as Coordinator Notification by OWBN Bylaws; the Selkie Kith is classified as Rare, and requires a Council Vote.

The Kingdom of Apples is abuzz with news of the Queen's invatation to a summit with the werewolves, but in the meantime Dreamers and Kithain alike are having problems sleeping in the summer heat. An unusual number of people have died in their sleep, suffered chronic nightmares, or woken burned out of inspiration and creativity.
Join us on Saturday, July 27th at 1pm. Weather permitting, we will be at 205 Hollister Street; in the event of exsessive heat or rain, game site will be at the Cosmic Omelette.
June Game 6/22: Midsummer

It is a time of celebration: first, Midsummer, a Holiday celebrated by the Seelie and Unseelie Courts alike; second, the occassion of Queen Mab's Golden Jubilee, the 50th anniversary of her reign, during which she is touring the Duchies of Apples; and finally, the end of the Winter War, in which Queen Lir was finally defeated, and the Great Forest of the Dreaming made safe again.
It is a day of dancing and drinking, and a night of bonfires, which are said to keep away evil spirits, and will o' the wisps, which are said to lead to treasure. It is a day when maidens are said to be able to see the reflection of their future husbands in the waters of wells; a day of traditions from before the coming of the Church, when mortals made offerings to the Fae.
Duchess Autumn has invited the Fae of the Duchy of Mirrors to the Ducal Freehold of Castle Craig to reward those veterans of the Winter War who served; to honor those lost in the battle; and, rumor has it, to speak of Queen Mab's Royal Progress.
Join us on Saturday, June 22nd, at 205 Hollister Street, at 1:00pm! Weather is forecasted to be sunny and warm, and the grill will be available.

After missing last month, it is our pleasure to be comng back with the April session of Graymere Glen! What's more, this saturday is so far looking to be dry and partly cloud/partly sunny, which means we're going to expect to do the session outside at 205 Hollister. Grill is available for use, and firepit may be used as the afternoon goes on, particularly if it's a bit chilly.
The Duchy of Mirrors has been relatively quiet for the past two months, located - this time around - pretty far behind the front lines of the war against the Fomorians. A number of seasonal and unusual chimera and nervosi have been spawned in recent days, due to a combination of the Easter holiday and pop culture phenomenon. Chimerical Cadbury Creme egges measuring six feet end to end have been discovered around Freeholds that have outdoor space, such as Aunt Marta's House, Gilette Castle, Coldfort, and Graymere Glen. Other strange chimera have been sighted as well, some much less benign...

Chronus: Set in Stone: We have found that without limits, this Cantrip proves unbalancing. From now on, you may only Set in Stone buff cantrips on yourself, and you may only ever have a total of 5 cantrips Set in Stone per caster.
March Game: Cancelled

First of all, thank you for giving us your collective opinions as to what option we should take this month. In situations like this, it's probably not possible to find a solution that pleases everyone. In addition to your votes, we've had to take into account things like the game's finances and our own ability to secure babysitting for a different date.
We have decided to cancel the March game.
We should see you all for our regularly scheduled game in April - I'm not aware of any conflicts - and if you're really itching for your fix, I also direct you toward all of the 3 discord options currently available for Changeling, or to hit Dogs of War this coming Saturday, which allows Changeling visitors.
We love you all - this is the only LARP I have ever run where I end running a session feeling more excited than I started it, and you all deserve credit for that. We'll see you in April :)
