Going Once… Going Twice
Reginald Dashwood and Eugene Delacroix host all of the kindred of New Haven tonight at their private auction house in downtown New Haven. A selection of rare and valuable artifacts from across the world will be up for sale to the highest bidder.
The following items are available for sale from Dashcroix Antiques.
- Lot 1 - A handwritten journal, around 1500 years old. Written in ancient Hebrew, and is a series of notes made by Anicius Manlius Severinus Boëthius, an Italian philosopher, scholar and statesmen under the Kingdom of Flavius Odoacer. It details his attempts to track the path of the Holy Grail through history, and supposedly contains several references to possible final resting places of this elusive, but legendary, relic.
- Lot 2 - A small Clay Urn dated to be 8000 years old. Sculpted by a Toreador Methuselah who died a thousand years ago. The urn appears blank, but when exposed to the light of the crescent moon, a beautiful relief appears. The figures painted on it depict an ancient unknown battle between kindred.
- Lot 3 - A small burial urn, made of silver. 2100 years old. Contain the ashes of a Ventrue Elder known as Collat, who ruled in Rome for about 20 years before his execution at the hands of his subjects.
- Lot 4 - A grimoire of magic written by a Setite called Thutmose in the 5th Century. Written in Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphs.
- Lot 5 - A glass and gold goblet used as a chalice by a Tremere traitor known as Goratrix, supposedly imbued with unknown mystical properties. 800 years old.
- Lot 6 - A small wooden idol of an unknown spirit, believed to be associated with a group of shapeshifters known as the Bastet. 300 years old.
- Lot 7 - A silk lined jewelry box, 125 years old. Made by a Changeling craftsman. Said to be associated with fae creatures known as Darklings.
- Lot 8 - A selection of Scrolls, written in Arabic, that describe several obscure rituals in the Dur-An-Ki discipline of Thaumaturgy. Believed to be around 1200 years old, however it resists all known methods of dating.
- Lot 9 - A pewter cyphoning jug, 1300 years old. This piece is the only remaining part of an apparatus once used for the ancient art of brewing Enochian Wine.
- Lot 10 - A mirrored tray, 200 years old, that was made by the Toreador craftsman, Jean-Jacque D’Argent. An exquisite piece, priceless in mortal terms.
In addition, there will be a silent auction, for more personal items and services, to be bought and sold to and from the kindred of New Haven.
Bidding in the auction will use Dashcroix’s ‘Sestertii’ system, whereby boons are converted into a numeric value dependent on the status and reputation of the individual named upon the Boon Contract and the type of boon. Please come see either Mr. Dashwood or Mr. Delacroix for an evaluation of your boons and their relative worth.
Security for the evening will be handled by the latest partner in Dashcroix Antiques, Mr. David Ferelli of the Samedi. (Known by most as the Scourge of New Haven) Please be respectful of status and maintain your decorum while enjoying the hospitality of the evening.

The next installment of New England Nightmares is running tonight at Friendship Lodge in Southington. Doors open at 6pm and we aim to start game at around 7pm.

DTA responses
Due to all three STs having a chaotic month in their ‘real lives’, we are sorry that no DTAs responses have been written up for this month. If you have anything urgent that you need an answer for in time for this game, please come and find one of us before game and we can give you a brief overview.
Otherwise, we will be getting the responses written up over the next few weeks post-game.
Again, apologies for not being able to get back to you as we would normally.

Greetings Kindred of the Domain of New Haven,
The last gathering was a difficult time, and once again the city of New Haven emerged victorious. Through the efforts of the city a great evil was expunged from the realms and there was no destruction of the state or city.
The Prince would like to acknowledge some members of our city who went above and beyond the call of service.
- For devising the plan that ultimately led to the destruction of a supremely evil creature, Malcolm du Varnei and Sheriff Badr El-Fekkak will be known as Courageous.
- For being adaptable in the last minutes and joining the ultimate fight of the evening, Anton Mikhail will be known as Courageous.
- Finally, for committing to a plan with only loyalty as guidance, Orlok will be known as Loyal.
The Prince thanks everyone who helped repel the situation of the night and feels proud of his city and our ability to weather anything that is thrown our way. This cooperation that we went through this past night will need to be tested again as we engage with our numerous enemies.
Furthermore, the Prince would like to advise that everyone must be on their guard and lay low as the events in the past few months has drawn unwanted attention. If one requires further detail to reach out to myself.

The Juggernaut has passed on…
This letter is written to both the faithful of the Sabbat and denizens of the Camarilla, for the legacy of this man stands astride both sects,
On this past Friday evening, in my home domain of Danbury, the legendary Joran Marcovi, was murdered and diablerized by Toby Aylett, a member of the Kerbstompers pack.
Mr. Aylett had a Nosferatu accomplice, one of his pack mates. It is believed that this accomplice used Infernal magic to violate the sacred rite of Monomancy, allowing Toby to ‘cheat’ and thus defeat the indestructible Juggernaut of Caine.
Marcovi’s loyal pack, the Messiahs of Caine, tracked down these two traitors, and the pack that initiated and supported them. Upon my orders, they were all executed for their crimes and their blasphemies.
I can only imagine the vile hatred that drove these traitors to such a foul act. But the guilty have been brought to justice now, and all we are left with is our grief.
Without Joran Marcovi the war between Sabbat and Camarilla would have led both sects to utter ruin. He truly was a hero and a titan, and even though we didn’t always see eye-to-eye, I considered him a true friend...
May he Rest In Peace with the Dark Father…

From beneath you, it devours...
The city of New Haven is thriving, it’s citizens content and it’s economy booming. The city is bustling and has fully recovered from the Sabbat assault over a year ago. So it seems strange that in such prosperous times, the current atmosphere over the city seems very out of place.
There are reports all across New Haven of people experiencing terrifying dreams, unexplained bouts of rage or paranoia. There has been a sudden increase in violent crime, but the perpetrators are everyday people, with no history of aggression. There is no rhyme or reason to the sudden fear and malaise that has fallen across the city. Something supernatural must be at work…
The Kindred world is rife with political strife. The forces of Avalon take yet another city from the Alliance. A new Seneschal, Sir Basiel Stirling, replaces Clayton Lafayette at Prince Jenning’s side. The Sabbat have gone silent since the new treaty, as the Sword of Caine licks its wounds.
The nights are never dull in this city...

A Declaration from Avalon
I, Timothy Masoni of Clan Ventrue, the one True Heir of Mithras, Monarch of the Baronies of Avalon and Prince of London, do hereby declare that the City of Waterbury, Connecticut, is now the territory of Avalon.
Our forces took the city last night and expelled the Alliance forces. I hereby grant Praxis of Waterbury to Reginald King, who also rules as Vassal Prince of Hartford. Both of these territories shall be considered as one domain, under the rule of Avalon.
Both Hartford and Waterbury are now under my protection, and the forces of Avalon will defend our territory from any hostile actions by outside forces.
Once again, I warn you all not to interfere with our affairs, lest you risk our retribution.
