Frühlingsfest (Spring Festival)

The warmer weather sees mortals emerging from their homes, seeking outdoor pursuits and walking the streets at night in a light jacket. All the better for Kindred though, as the city becomes better for hunting.

 

The Hunter are not patrolling the city with the same regularity as before, but they are not gone, so caution is still required.

 

Avalon has withdrawn to Massachusetts and the advance of Camarilla forces has been halted by the Justicariate, as concerns over the safety of other territories has stirred up concerns. The Anarchs have resettled in the newly liberated Hartford and are already fortifying their position.

 

New alliances and old grudges continue to play out across the city, and Prince Yaeger continues to bring stability to New Haven, even if some find his application of power a little heavy handed.

Melting Snow

Prince Yeager Penn Field invites all the Kindred of New Haven to attend an Elysium event hosted by Primogen DuVarnei of Clan Toreador at the Omni Hotel in downtown New Haven!

Enjoy an Elysium surrounded by luxury and beauty, such as only Clan Toreador can provide! The Prince will be holding court on the 19th floor with a panoramic view of the city.

Artwork both from the respected and the up-and-coming artists will be on display for your perusal and purchase. The venue has been declared a full Elysium, so all Etiquette rules of the Camarilla must be observed at all times!

 

Welcome, noble Kindred of New Haven, to Camarilla Court as is it meant to be!

 

Transportation will be provided by the host via helicopter. Please meet at the West Haven Public Parking Garage just before the evening begins.

Melting Snow

The hopes of the mortal world are slowly restored, as the harsh cold winter breaks, and hope looms on the horizon as vaccinations bring about the possibility of restoring some social freedoms.

 

The Domain of New Haven also seems to be reflecting this optimism, with Prince Yeager Penfield’s leadership proving highly effective. Avalon’s forces have been pushed back from Hartford, the former Baron of Hartford, Reginald King, has been killed in single combat with the Brujah General Drake. The Hunters that have been plaguing the city, seem to have lost their ability to target the resources and influences of the Kindred. The comforting blanket of the Masquerade covers the vampiric residents of New Haven once again. The Prince has capitalized on these positive events, and his popularity is soaring.

 

However these victories bring with them new dangers... 

 

The Hunters may be blinded for the moment, but they have not left the city. How long will it be before they adapt and find their quarries again? 

 

The victory in Hartford was decisive, but it revealed a worrying new threat in the form of the Assamites. It seems the entire clan (Save for the Viziers) have put their full support behind the forces of Mithras. And rumors abound of a dangerous new weapon, some kind of Arcane poison, that felled a powerful Elder of the Camarilla in a single hit! It is clear that Avalon has not yet played all of the cards in its hand. What other horrors are they prepared to unleash?

 

The Prince calls his court again...

Hidden Flame

The Court of New Haven welcomed Vorlon of the Alliance to discuss terms of cooperation between them, the Anarchs and the Camarilla. Topics were discussed, targets and goals identified and an accord agreed to. How tenuous is this new arrangement before the nature of Kindred undermines the benefits of cooperation? Only time will be the judge...

 

The Hunters struck or did they not? Who controls the strings that make them dance? Is there a larger scheme in place?

 

The sheriff, Ken Shikusa, aided by others in the domain, successfully ended a threat to the domain. Failure would have been catastrophic to the kindred and mortals alike.

 

Karsh, the former Imperator, is a wanted man by the Camarilla. Orders were given to bring him in alive to stand trail before the Justicars to receive justice for his crimes. Or is this just another power play to further humiliate the Gangrel clan? What other angles of this story are untold and unknown?

 

The winds of winter howl outside as snow and ice blanket the region. A hidden flame burns unseen. The court will again gather for another evening of social engagement and politics. What will the winter nights bring for the daring and adventurous kindred of the night?

The King's Gambit

The Court of New Haven has seen another shift in the power structure with Yeager Penn Field claiming praxis over the domain. Preceding this, a new Gangrel primogen was named to the council. Soon thereafter, four of the primogen publicly express this lack of confidence in Matteo's praxis. They each stripped him of his princely status by sacrificing their own Noble status, as is their right.

After much debate and politicking, Yeager Penn Field, Ventrue, claimed the praxis with all other claimants withdrawing their claims. A new court was formed:

Other events in the evening included the assault on the Necromancer and subsequent destruction. Each time he has been killed, he returns, so is he gone for good this time?
The Hunters are still present and a danger for the unwary kindred. This threat lingers and must be dealt with or all will suffer.

The Anarchs and the Camarilla have been battling Avalon forces in the state, pushing most outside the state's borders. The Alliance Ambassador, Vorlon, is seeking terms for a mutual pact between the Anarchs, Camarillan, Sabbat and Alliance to deal with the Avalon threat together. Never have any of them agreed to anything of importance. The enemy of the enemies are my allies? Whatever agreement may come to pass, the strain on the sects will test the ideologies of each. The Avalon leader in Boston, William King, former Prince of the Colonies, faces off against clanmates, old enemies and allies alike. What does he have in store for those arrayed against him and Avalon?

The nights grow cold and the fierce moonlight cast a pale glow on the city and region as different battles rage in the streets and within the court. Strength, cunning, and wits will determine the destiny of the kindred of New Haven. Do they rise to the challenges or succumb to their own base desires?

Incarnation of Death - Dec 19th Game

The New Haven domain is settling in under the new Prince of the domain and the first gathering was held in a new Elysium, The Coliseum. Politics continue to shape the court and the domain. The elemental stone of Fire has fallen into the hands of another, causing concern and fear. The Ambassador for the Alliance, Vorlon, paid a visit to the court concerning the threat of Avalon. The Sabbat also engaged in diplomatic discussions with the domain and Prince Matteo.

 

The Necromancer still roams unchecked and his machinations are unknown. The nights of winter lengthen and the activity if the kindred increasing with the waning of the daylight. How long will the hunters remain contained? Who holds the strings that keep them at bay? Why?

 

The court of New Haven will convene where opportunity awaits the bold and daring. Threats abound from outside and within the court. The dance of the Jyhad continues and shapes those that survive and thrive in the night.
