House rules

0 Rule 0 is simple. When in doubt the st is right. When in doubt see rule zero

1 No out of tribe, breed or auspice gifts unless you have a merit that allows you to buy them. Characters with these gifts and not the merits; convert them to fetishes subject to fetish detication limit see rule 5.

3 Vampire powers we use the parent game KoNY rules for vampire genre. With the following exception. All tie powers regardless or origin are converted to +5 traits on ties, they otherwise function as normal. Unless its a Trex or something just as massive they get ties cause they can players can not.

4: Kinfolk are built per the KoNY retainer system switching vampire powers for gifts if they are able to buy them after being approved for being gnositic. No backgrounds over 3. subject to rule zero.

5: Gnosis and fetishes. Each per gnosis point grants a slot for attuning a fetish, or talon. Every 5 talons takes a gnosis slot. Fetishes all fetishes that grant a basic or equivalant power take a single gnosis slot. All fetishes that grant a int level power or Klaives take twq gnosis slots. All grand klaives or fetishes that offer a advanced power take three gnosis slots. This is subject to rule zero.

6: Add abilities to traits for ties

7: In the umbra when fighting spirits replace your physical, social, metal corespondedly with Rage, Gnosis, and Willpower for comparision on ties. Add abilities as per any other challenge.

8: The Glasswalker tribal advantage only applies to a single influence catagory, and may not bring an influence above 3. They may purchase all levels of influence for a single xp given the correct growth actions are taken as well.

Influence update 2013 from the trenches

So I am slugging through the paper work to knock out this update for everyone.

It will take full effect 2014.

Update reminder Mentors and Allies must be defined in who they are. Otherwise they can not be used to aid in influence actions ever.

This update will effect players with any influence at levels 4+.

The effect it will have on players with out those higher levels of influence is that you can now grow/buy said influences that were previously capped.

How this is going to work. As a example we will use made up influence in sweat shops. While a ever growing business with plenty of use and life in NYC it can't grow to big else it endanger itself. So we cap its top teir at say 7. This could mean there is 1 seve slot, 2 six slots, 3 five level slots and 6 four level slots.

Many players have seen with underworld and street influence once you reach a certain level it gets flavored which comes with different choices of rp and directions of background story. All influences will be conforming to that standard.

That said it will become a first come first served policy. This door will start to close at a week after KoNY (Feb 1 2014) where you will get your choice of what is open to fit into. If a slot is no longer avalible you will be refunded your xp. If you fail to get in before the dead line you will lose your influence level down to 3 and not be refunded the xp. If you require a extension please contact me ASAP.

Transfer characters are at the back of the list. Shelfed characters returning to play will be handled as transfer characters. Note this is for recent transfers and characters with high levels of influence that have not taken any influence actions since I have been on staff for the past 15 months will be treated as transfers.

Aslo remember PCs and NPCs all play in the same influence sand box. They to will also hold slots.

Character creation rules

Character creation rules Update as of April 2014. Characters are made as per character creation in Laws of the wild revised. With the following modifications. Gifts or things from other books require st permision before being bought.

Homids Glasswalker, Bonegawer and Fianna, or their kinfolk with no R&U approval requests, with a approved background shall recieve a bonus 60xp starting bonus.

Homid Shadowlords, Child of Gaia, Blackfury, Uktenna, Get of Fenris; as well as Metis and lupus Bonegnawers, as well as all other kinfolk with a approved character history shall recieve a 45xp bonus at character creation, with no R&U approval requests.

All others with a approved character background shall recieve a 30xp bonus at character creation.

All character creation is for characters of rank 1 or 0. Personal totems may not be taken at character creation. Pack totems may only be taken at character creation for groups of three or more characters starting at rank 1; otherwise the group must undergo a spirit quest to find their totem spirit in the course of game.

+5 starting xp for Arhouns, Galliards, and Philodx.

+2 Starting xp for each character that come in as a pack to a totem that is not war.

These rep bonuses can only be taken at character creation and can not raise you above starting character gen xp max.

Hey everyone November is a insane month what with Holidays and all the wacky crappy weather. However I have been talking with Jesse about a possible winter site for us.

Yes that means we could very well do game all year. More werewolf more famori more spirits!

Ideally some time soon I will be making my way over to look at a few possible sites we could use. If I like what I see game will be the 30th of this month as that should give time and be far enough after the holiday to work for most people. If anyone has a better idea I am always open to hearing them.

Praise Gaia and the Wyrm! But screw the weaver that greedy bitch.
