House rules
0 Rule 0 is simple. When in doubt the st is right. When in doubt see rule zero
1 No out of tribe, breed or auspice gifts unless you have a merit that allows you to buy them. Characters with these gifts and not the merits; convert them to fetishes subject to fetish detication limit see rule 5.
3 Vampire powers we use the parent game KoNY rules for vampire genre. With the following exception. All tie powers regardless or origin are converted to +5 traits on ties, they otherwise function as normal. Unless its a Trex or something just as massive they get ties cause they can players can not.
4: Kinfolk are built per the KoNY retainer system switching vampire powers for gifts if they are able to buy them after being approved for being gnositic. No backgrounds over 3. subject to rule zero.
5: Gnosis and fetishes. Each per gnosis point grants a slot for attuning a fetish, or talon. Every 5 talons takes a gnosis slot. Fetishes all fetishes that grant a basic or equivalant power take a single gnosis slot. All fetishes that grant a int level power or Klaives take twq gnosis slots. All grand klaives or fetishes that offer a advanced power take three gnosis slots. This is subject to rule zero.
6: Add abilities to traits for ties
7: In the umbra when fighting spirits replace your physical, social, metal corespondedly with Rage, Gnosis, and Willpower for comparision on ties. Add abilities as per any other challenge.
8: The Glasswalker tribal advantage only applies to a single influence catagory, and may not bring an influence above 3. They may purchase all levels of influence for a single xp given the correct growth actions are taken as well.

There is a mini event that we are supporting.
Location: Union Street Manchester CT
When: March 29nd
Time: Noon
Why: the Hudson river spirit has fallen to the wyrm and is corrupting all it touches. Leaching life from the city spirits that it has wyrmed its way into. Even now it grows stronger, consuming the hearts and desires. Answer the call and defend Gaia to your last breath.
As I know a number of you have expressed interest in going. Though for logistics can those interested post here and if they need a ride or can drive.

First in support of the regions games and some of the stories that are being run marchs game will be the westchester mini event. details and info to come.
Second: we love running for you guys but we know its sometimes hard to get everyone out as different times of the month work better for some then others, further to support the feel of our beloved genre we are toying strongly with the idea of bringing you cry havoc 2 to 3 times a month. yes you heard that right garou full of rage more then once a month!
Now to be clear this would not be for all the players as each game day picked would focus on a pack or two. Then every three months we would have a moot. for our long time players this would mean more chances to beat your chest and get you some sweat renown! personally I love this idea as stories can be enjoyed by packs and you can surprise your friends with how bad ass you all were at the moots. it would also alow for our smaller staff to service you the players better.
Now again these dates would focus on packs as they are the heart of garou life you wacky pack animals you, but we know you are all not in packs I would like to see that change ideally with the players input.
Of course major events will still likely happen and call for bigger games and we all know how I love them epic story lines. and oh boy do I have many in mind. yet before I can bring you stories worth raging on for we need to hear you gaias warriors thoughts.

Below is a list of game dates we are thinking we may use for this year. At this time till a site is found we will call them tentative dates. However in the spirit of trying to make a game as awesome as it can be with as many of you as wish to attend we will post the likely dates now. If the dates are issues for enough people we will look to see what can be done.

We've had a lot of snow this year, and more is on the way. I blame the Wendigo. So until the first buds of summer break through the frozen ground, and we can return to the Caern in Central Park, we need a comfortable indoor location to hold game. I would like to keep running Cry Havoc as a "free-to-play" game, but that means we need a FREE site. So if any of you out there have a location in mind, or know someone who knows someone who has a place we can run, please contact us right away.

It's that time of year again, where we begin to shrug off winter's chill and get ready for another season of Cry Havoc. In order to prepare this year's game, I would like all our active players out there to do a short write-up in their journal describing what they've been up to over our winter hiatus, what storylines they've been involved in, what they'd like to pursue, and what types of plot you'd like to see us run.
We as a staff want to run the game our players want to play, so this is your chance to influence the future of your game. Let us know what you want, and we'll do our best to make it happen (within reason).
