With the new year I want to move fresh on DCH. Staff and I will be having some meetings to go over various aspects of the game.
If any one had anything posted on puppet or emails needing approvals from 2014 through January of this month that does not get poked can you either bump or remind us of these. I want to dedicate a meeting to staff solving through these and getting back to you on them. If we'eve told you it may take some time already then hang with us.
The biggest things I've seen people asking for from DCH has been a bigger staff. More focus on the actions of the PC's. More plot regarding internal politics.
Instead of focusing on the dislikes (which were not ignored, but we simply cut these things out or cut back on) we've tried to focus more on the things you guys want.
From where I'm standing this has spelled out to the fact that DCH players what to feel as if they have more effect with in our sandbox and that their actions with in the sandbox hold more wieght than something 2 dementional. and they want a bigger staff so there are more people to go around. I think these desires are more than reasonable.
I could go on but I want to have the meetings with the rest of staff before I comment further.
If any one has any thoughts or wises to make their voices heard please feel free to post here.( I know this has blown up in the past so keep things polite) I'll try to keep up with answers and take into account what people present here as we move forward.
We will try to post or musings from these meetings on puppet but the majority of this stuff will be presented or repeted at opening announcesments at game when we have everything wrapped up ooc.

I wanted to give every one a heads up before game. I will be running a special night instead of a standard game . Staff will be short handed and it is the last game of the year I wanted to try something special . I won't spoil any thing but current plot won't be run. If this changes minds about your attendance , this is why I'm giving the heads up now.

All,
To faciliate and easier time for all storytellers we are requiring the following of all PCs:
Please add (DCH) to the name field of all characters based in Dark Colony, Hartford.
Example
AL X (DCH)
As journal posts hit all staff teams, you are a member of a chronicle, this makes it much easier for us to notice whether it is a player in hartford trying to spend their exp and we need to pay attention, or the one time visiting player from tampa wanting to spend exp and therefore not our concern.
This makes our feeds much easier to handle and manage and will enable us to better and more quickly respond to your posts that require attention.
Thank you and please have this done by next game 10/24/2014.

The Staff

This was announced at the start and end of last game. But for the sake of every one Im going to post it.
Staff is requesting that down time infulences expenditures be sent in no later than 1 week before game. This month it would be the 17th. This includes pcs outside of dch spending influence into dch.
We have a new system for cataloging expenditures so we can have the effects spell out each game (if any) Normal down time actions can be logged up until the night before game as allways. This is just for influence.
Any influence that is short term, meaning I spend x to cover a breech, or I spend x to have this hunter carted off to jail. Can be delt with on the spot if you have availible influence to spend.
Every one is really good about getting influences in early any way so its not a huge issue. We just want to be transparent with you on what we're doing on our end.
If you need and exception let staff know each month asap and we plan for it.
Anything not meeting the deadline or made exceptions for will not be counted.
If at any time in the process staff drops the ball we will compensate the individual asap.
If you are spending influence outside of dch then we don't need to have it compiled and ready for game night so you may waver this deadline.

Hey folks,
While I'm sitting here at work I have the same questions I've asked every time I step on to a staff.
What do you guys want to see for stories. DCH has a full team of st's now (Still looking for a Lady who'd like to step up!) and We all have some different tastes. I'd like to hear what you guys are interested in having for plot. I'm asking now so we can have some Ideas of what players are looking for once we begin to move into years and the new year.
Of course staff has been rolling around some ideas of our own. But Knowing what kind of stuff players would like to see helps us tailor everything.

It sounds like there will be a campout the 19-21 regarding the waterbury stuff.
I'll let one of the guys who have been setting it all up give the details, or copy paste if there is interest.
Is there any interest Camarilla player side for this event. If so can you send Riccardino and myself a message asap so we can put something together. As of right now I wont be at the campout, If there is a large interest from DcH and Stamford I'll talk with our st base and we can try to works something out.
