Tonight, you become one of the Kindred, the beautiful and the damned who hide behind our ordinary world. Driven by a hunger like fire, you will struggle to maintain your humanity while immersed in a vicious society of monsters.
The sharks you swim with deadly. The Kindred are the smart, sexy vampires of pop culture, but cruelty is in the nature of kindred and Hartford is one of the most dangerous cities they hold. Why come here if doing so can be a detriment to immortality?

Dark Colony: Hartford is an OWBN Camarilla Vampire Larp set in Hartford, CT. The longest running continous OWBN game in New England. DC:H is a continuation of the vampire chronicles Court of Storms and Hartford by Night (started in 1998). Set to the World of Darkness theme for Gothic Punk Personal Horror. We play every fourth Friday of the month, and aim to give you dark tales of horror, set to the back drop of a classic world of darkness.

To the Citizens of Hartford,
We have grown jaded by the broken promises. We have sat in the fucking dark ignored while few held the knowledge necessary for our city to prosper. Whether frozen in fear or seduced and manipulated by all the spoils of the crown. In recent nights, I have watched citizens and elders once sworn to oppose each other find a new understanding between them. Change must happen. Unity must happen. And its success is our responsibility.
I'm not going to make promises. I didn't fucking wake up one night drunk with desire for glory and political ambition. God damn it, as Prince of this city, there is work to be done. I'll prove it in action. Period.
I refuse to let this city fall and I am sick and tired of it being the ridicule of the entire sect. And let me be clear on this, if you bear no love for this domain. If you seek only to exploit all of our faults to any that will listen, just leave now. Spread your poison somewhere else. I don't have time for you and I don't care for those that don't believe in this city.

So I'm thinking about rules for allowing them to have sheets. These NPCs woud have limited backgrounds, (They cannot have Influences, contacts or allies, etc)
What are your thoughts?
