Tonight, you become one of the Kindred, the beautiful and the damned who hide behind our ordinary world. Driven by a hunger like fire, you will struggle to maintain your humanity while immersed in a vicious society of monsters.

The sharks you swim with deadly. The Kindred are the smart, sexy vampires of pop culture, but cruelty is in the nature of kindred and Hartford is one of the most dangerous cities they hold. Why come here if doing so can be a detriment to immortality?

Dark Colony: Hartford is an OWBN Camarilla Vampire Larp set in Hartford, CT. The longest running continous OWBN game in New England.  DC:H is a continuation of the vampire chronicles Court of Storms and Hartford by Night (started in 1998). Set to the World of Darkness theme for Gothic Punk Personal Horror.  We play every fourth Friday of the month, and aim to give you dark tales of horror, set to the back drop of a classic world of darkness.

Downtime Scene Saturday 4/24/2010

It's been one year since my last downtime scene at Elizabeth Park and to not disappoint we are doing it again this year and going bigger!  This year Lex is joining me in telling this tale which I have high hopes to be just as memorable and awesome as last years.  If you missed it last year be sure not to miss it this year!

This Saturday at Elizabeth Park Hartford CT at 2:30 pm meet at the gazebo.  Come with trust, open minds, and willingness to have fun, and I promise you will enjoy it!

Sept of the Hidden Flame event!

Hey guys I'm planning on going to this and I highly encourage all our players to as well!  The Rhode Island guys are awesome and like all the games in the Northeast we all talk to each other and have cross chronicle plots.  Besides it will be a great time!

Very Important Annoucnment

Although we all love this game, we have a very important announcement to make.  Probably the best way to put this is we are leaving OWBN.  Realistically this will cause most of you to cry out in anger.  Initially I felt the same way.  Largely though, this has been coming for a while.  For one thing the constant changing of the R&U and Coord control is simply unacceptable.  Originally we thought this was not going to go as far as it has.  Obviously we where wrong.   Letting coordinators gain this must control over our game is something we as a staff can no longer tolerate.  So, sadly we have come to conclusion Dark Colony: Hartford and OWBN will go their separate ways.

Thanks to our players who will remain with us during these times.
