The sharks you swim with deadly. The Kindred are the smart, sexy vampires of pop culture, but cruelty is in the nature of kindred and Hartford is one of the most dangerous cities they hold. Why come here if doing so can be a detriment to immortality?

Dark Colony: Hartford is an OWBN Camarilla Vampire Larp set in Hartford, CT. The longest running continous OWBN game in New England. DC:H is a continuation of the vampire chronicles Court of Storms and Hartford by Night (started in 1998). Set to the World of Darkness theme for Gothic Punk Personal Horror. We play every fourth Friday of the month, and aim to give you dark tales of horror, set to the back drop of a classic world of darkness.

An invitation on red paper with a gold rose engraved into the center goes out to all know Kindred in the city….
Clan Toerador would like to invite all of the area Kindred to the time honored tradition of Salon, to be held this Friday March 26th at the Hartford Historical Society building.

All around the great city of Hartford, the homeless and the doomsayers have seemed to come out in force. Much more then normal; many people can be seen around the city carrying signs. These signs and maddening speeches speak of the end times. How soon the world will end, and you will know it when two signs come to pass. When the sky rains blood and 31 innocent souls die. They claim the second sign comes too, and soon Wormwood approaches. Mad preaching can be heard in the streets. Largely ignored by the populace as whole, as they ignore most the homeless normally, their yells of salvation lies through prayer to God and its angel Arethiel are the only way to save the true believers in the coming flood are almost deafening. They claim that monsters have hid the truth from everyone, and they walk amongst us now. That Arethiel reveled himself to all, to cast light upon the darkness. Only through God and his messenger Arethiel can the forces of darkness be driven back. Though these ravings seemed to be largely ignored and blamed on a system of over crowded mental health care in the Institute of Living, these homeless and insane rant all day and night of the coming apocalypse. Though it seems that few will listen, you may never truly know how many did.
Else where a miracle has occurred, Sister Elizabeth Dupont has received the most holy Stigmata. She claims to have been visited by the Angel Arethiel and told her dedication to him and god would be rewarded. That she would show all those who doubt in the power of him, that she would be a servant to show the world to have faith. To restore belief in the crumbling and failings of the human spirit. That she would show everyone to believe in god and Arethiel his angel once more. Overwhelmed by this miracle scores of the Judea-Christian religious priests from around the area have come to witness this miracle. They claim god has blessed Sister Elizabeth with this most holy mission. They spread the word of this miracle. It’s even said that a delegation from Rome itself will soon arrive to witness this miracle. In the churches people speak of this most holy event, of God and his Angel Arethiel. They pray that Sister Elizabeth will spread her message of faith and that Arethiel will guide her and everyone’s hands in the coming nights. Night after night, the churches around the state begin to fill. All praying that god and Arethiel will drive back the coming darkness and the monsters that live among them. Amulets and other talismans seem to be coming from the churches and several shops around the city. They bear the image of an Angel labeled Arethiel. They are done in the style of pendants of St. Michael and the other Angels. They seem to be hand crafted by the parishes of Hartford, and handed out. They are used for praying in protection granted by god and his messenger Arethiel. They can be seen handed out and worn mostly from the churches in the area, but soon if you look close enough; you can see more and more everyday people wearing this pendants. All dedicated to god and his Angel Arethiel.

Invitation to all Kindred

In honor of Her Grace's first year on the Throne a High Tea/ Cocktail Party will be held at the Hartford Club, 46 Prospect st in Hartford. Also there will be a showing of the Newest Burton movie Alice in Wonderland. The rules of Elysium will be in effect and inforced by Keeper Buckley. Cocktail attire is preferred, but not required as i realize this is very short notice. Thank you all for for your time.

Snow Strom and Game....

We are still currently going to be having game this evening despite the current snow fall. It is only suppose to be about 1 to 4 inches of snow over a 24 hour time periode, which is nothing as far as even remotely bad weather.
With that in mind, please drive safe. Make sure you give yourself time to get to game. Game start is begin moved for tonight to 7:45 to accomidate the extra time needed to get to game.....
Over all the staff has been working really hard over the last week and We are very excited about seeing you at game this evening.
If the weather turns for the worse, information will be given out as fast as we can....

Terrible accident leads to miraculous survival and renewed hope
Late last night a terrible gas main explosion caused structural damage to the Clemen’s Place Apartment Complex in Hartford. The cause of the explosion is yet unknown, but as most residents of Hartford know, the building was unable to withstand the extent of the damage done during the accident. About 15 minutes after the explosion the apartment complex collapsed, trapping many of its residents inside. Police at this time do not suspect this to be an act of terrorism, but likely to be an industrial accident of some kind. Even still, as such, officers of both the FBI and the department of Homeland Security have been called into the investigation.
Even as efforts continue on to search and rescue survivors of this terrible accident, and the death toll continues to mount, surprise miracles seem to be happening. More people then expected have seemed to survive this accident then was initially expected. When asked the victims claimed that their prayers where answered as they lay beneath the rubble asking god or anyone for help.
Many religious leaders of the city have come to ask for everyone to pray to whatever they may believe in, in hopes that more survivors will be found. Even the police seem to be asking for prays and well wishes. As a sign of hope, people are lighting candles in their windows at midnight every night, in hopes that maybe someone will continue to listen and help save these poor people.
Even though this reporter has never found her self to be practically religious, even I can not help but be moved by this display of hope. And I will join my fellow citizens in lighting a candle for the people of this horrible tragedy.
