With the revisions to casting, abilities will now not interact with either casting or defending against Cantrips. Since those weird interactions were the reason we did not implement Ability adds to begin with, it's now worth considering if we should change our House Rules to align more closely with the other regional games.
All the vampire games, both werewolf games and hidden flame all use ability adds. It would make things easier for people visiting, and for our pcs going to those games, if we implemented ability adds.
I'd like to get people's opinions, but unless there are strong objections my feeling is that its probably best to align with the other games in the area, now that our big reason not to is going away.

Hi everyone! So I expect that our normal game date of 12/23 will probably be low attendance, coming just before Christmas.
Instead of a full game, we invite you over to the house for rebuilding character sheets for C20, some playtesting, food, and relaxation. Kids welcome!
We'll be game on with the new C20 rules in Jaruary at the regular time and location.
I'll post some guidelines in the comments below, and I am also available for conversions by email with anyone who can't make it.

Join us on the Saturday after Thanksgiving for the Trial of Sorcha ni Eiluned, Countess of Elms, over the death of Baron Cory of Graymere Glen!
Rumors spread like wildfire through the Duchy of Mirrors: that Cory fell as a Hero in battle at Caer Palisades; that Sorcha had him murdered out of jealousy; that he was a traitor; that Sorcha is taking the fall for the Queen's orders; that Orsus is gathering troops to unseat the Duchess and restore the Commonwealth; that Orsus is dead; that the Queen's werewolf army is coming to put down the commoner revolt... really, no one is quite sure what is happening, but everyone's abuzz.
Quick show of hands: would people prefer one last game outside, with a fire, or shall we get an indoor site?
Update: We will be at our indoor site, the Cosmic Omelette. Game will begin at 2:30; feel free to come early and get breakfast!

Join us for our last game before the Northeast event, this Saturday at 205 Hollister Street, beginning at 1pm! Depending on temperature, we may have fire!
As the leaves turn and the nights become cold, it is as if the whole of the dreaming catches its breath, waiting for a sudden plunge: into deep water, or over the top of the first drop down the roller coaster track.
For three days now, the seemingly endless string of news about falling freeholds stops; the roar of the engines of the DethSkullz Motorcycle Club is not longer heard in the borders of the Duchy of Mirrors; and even the blood-red leaves of the dreaming seem to be paused on the very verge of falling to the ground...
All along the watchtower
Princes kept the view
While all the women came and went
Barefoot servants, too
Outside in the cold distance
A wildcat did growl
Two riders were approaching
