Staff is looking for feedback... would you all like to try these?

Keep in mind this is concept/protoype... changes may be made.

Merits will be capped at ten points in the game and people will have to choose their stacking more carefully. Martial Arts and out of genre merits, backgrounds etc will all be staff approval.

To ensure things remain interesting, every character will choose two archetype benefits. These will be tested for three months.

Rebel
Receive +2 Traits and a free retest when resisting any use of either Dominate or Presence (Choose One)

Autocrat
Defenders may not spend Willpower to retest against your uses of Dominate or Presence (Choose One)

Alpha
Gain a free retest when using Animal Ken.

Bravo
Gain +2 Traits on Brawling Challenges. You may spend Willpower to retest such challenges (May not be used in conjunction with carrier attacks)

Defender
When an ally within arms reach suffers damage, you may spend one willpower to do so instead. When this is used, suffer two less damage from the attack and take one step toward the source.

Chameleon
Gain +2 Traits and a free retest on stealth challenges.

Barbarian
Character may strike with immense force, dealing an extra level of damage and forcing the target to take three steps back.

Bon Vivant
Character gains +2 traits while dressed to impress.

Conniver
No abilities, disciplines etc may be used to detect your deception.

Deviant
May cause another to regain a point of willpower by indulging in vice with you.

Director
You may spend levels of your own abilities to grant others appropriate retests such as expending Leadership to give another character a leadership retest. (Once per target, per scene)

Idealist
May give words of encouragement regarding their higher Ideal to grant another a retest to any challenge performed to uphold that Ideal.

Pedagogue
Gain a free retest on static Mental challenges.

Monster
Regain a trait of willpower whenever you perform an act that is a sin for humanity ratings 1-3

Rogue
Gain a free retest on all Athletics and Security Challenges. Gain +1 Step in combat.

Soldier
May spend Willpower to retest firearms, athletics and survival.

Occultist
May use blood magic

Berserker
Gain +3 health levels and a free retest on all physical challenges while in frenzy.

Virtuoso
Choose a weapon and gain a free retest on challenges using that weapon once each round.
