The sharks you swim with deadly. The Kindred are the smart, sexy vampires of pop culture, but cruelty is in the nature of kindred and Hartford is one of the most dangerous cities they hold. Why come here if doing so can be a detriment to immortality?
It makes you feel alive.

First game of the new year! Good times.
Weather looks like there may be a bit of snow. As of right now game is still on. We'll keep an eye on things and make a call is it gets closer. Does not look like it will be terribly inclimate. If they start doing things like closing highways because we are getting 12+ inches then we'll revisit this...
Thanks,
DC:H Staff

Local Fire, Police, and Forensics investigators have concluded their investigation into a case of arson that was perperated about three weeks ago. The media was under a strict gag-order, pending the outcmoe of the investigations.
Local authorities say that the blackout was necessary, as the arson is thought ot be related to a similar fire, which consumed the Webster some months ago. The event being investigated is a homicide-arson crime. A warehouse attached to the farmer's market off of I-91 south in Hartford was set ablaze, and at least five people were found dead inside.
While Police aren't forthcoming with the dtails or identities of those found dead, they are stating that itseems to have been a "personal attack"; as some of the bodies showed signs of having been killed before the fire was set.
Local residents of Hartford county are less concerned about the arson, than they are about losing one of the community's favorite open-air markets.
Hobie Rochester, Hartford resident offered up this quote, "The farmer's market was a great place to go with our friends. It brought fresh vegetables and produce to the city, which are a notch above what we can find in the grocery stores. I can't believe someone out there hates both vegetables, and the community THAT much... it's just all kind of sad really."
Indeed, it seems that someone has a keen interest is seeing Hartford county suffer. Even in these trying times, it's somewhat unfathomable to see some crime commited that effects teh general populace of the city to such an extent. There have been cries to ensure the safety of citizens with additions to the police force. Citizens are growing weary of the seemingly endless gang related vioence plaguing the city. This reporter feels that if we keep going down this path, Detroit will be a safer place to live.
