My Dearest Brothers and Sisters,
It is with my utmost honor and pleasure, to announce and invite you all to our most sacred ceremony of the Blood Bath. On the night of July 23, 2011, New York shall once again know the freedom of the Sword of Caine and welcome home the Bishops of New York. Words cannot express how happy I am, our City is once again free of the taint of the Camarilla. Though like any pest, some may still yet linger. I have no doubt that the long overdue leadership of the city will spare no effort in hunting down our enemy, no matter where they may hide.
This Saturday night we honor our Bishops with the ritus of the Blood Bath. Three of our Brothers and Sisters have risen to assist in leading this city. Times before the Bishops of New York were divided into duties and territory. No longer shall this be the case. All shall be equal. The Sabbat was founded on the principals of freedom, these Cainites will hear your voice. They are your first source of spiritual guidance and leadership to all Cainies of New York City.
The Evening shall be filled with celebration, ritae, and appearances by many of the Sword of Caine’s luminaries throughout the night. So prepare your packs brothers and sisters for celebration! New York honors and Welcomes Bishops Simon Orozco, Cyrus, and Alejandra Maricela Devereaux Reyna.

The news is abuzz with the terrible devastation that has struck the greater Detroit area.
This is intended to be a synopsis of the information that is available, and a collection of rumors that various news networks would be spreading as no one knows what's really going on.
During the night of Saturday the 2nd rioting broke out in the greater Detroit area. People began attacking each other. Shortly after the rioting broke out communications and power grids became unstable. News directly out of the area has been sketchy every since. The rioting spread as far as to Windsor, Canada in some cases and down into Toledo, Ohio. The level of the rioting was unprecedented. As time went on power and communication disruption spread into the affected areas. A state of emergency was called by the government and national guard troops moved in to maintain the peace. Detroit was declared a "no fly zone" and incoming aircraft were diverted to other major cities.
The Press has been completely banned from the area as well as any other incoming traffic. From a distance CDC vehicles have been seen at times as well as people in protective hazmat suits. Though CDC and protected personal were not seen deployed in wide scale.
From a distance and using satellite imagery some news and private persons have gained images of the devastation that has rocked the area. Relief sites have been setup, but there seems to be fewer refugees at them then you would think would be about.
News Rumors and Conspiracy Theories that are circulating
A viral outbreak caused the citizens of Detroit to go crazy and start to attack each other.
Experts and most other news networks often dismiss this rumor though as the effects seem to have stopped and are not spreading.
The government was testing mind control satellites on the area. This rumor of course is ludicrous.
Terror attack using gas that caused the population to lose control. This rumor has gained some traction in some circles.
A short burning bacterial infection that burnt itself out was released within the area. This also doesn't make alot of sense.
Aliens...need I say more?
The Illuminati....also being shot down by any credible source.
Some psychologists are calling this a massive group hysteria that might of started from a small riot between jobless individuals and the police and group psychology caused it to escalate. While this theory does have holes it has gained traction in some circles.
Each game that wants to run this story is welcome to come up with their own crazy theories that their own news networks could be running as well. We encourage misinformation in the WoD and this is truly a terrible event.
