Message from the Archbishop

Brothers and Sisters of the Sword of Caine,

We the Bishopric of New York have only recently become aware of this situation.  I would like to assure everyone that the situation is well under control.  As Brother Nate has stated, the issue below the streets of New York is one from our cities past.  It is indeed the return of a Tzimisce experiment gone wild we thought we had destroyed.

For those of you that don't know, Many years ago in New York city a mad Tzimisce member of the Sect set about creating one the large war ghouls often attributed to the legendary prowess of the clan.  His goal, however, was to see how large and powerful he could make it.  Realising that such a creation would lose it's mind, he attempted to program it if you will.  His idea was that the first thing it eat it would always hunger for until it devoured all of it and hunted for more.  In theory such a weapon would be devastating upon our Camarilla enemies.  Fed it a Tremere, and it would hunt down and devour all the Tremere in a city.

Unfortunately, the creation (by this poitn was turned into a giant Cathedral if you will) eat its master in an accident.  Thus causing it to hunger for the entirety of the Blood of the fiends.  As you can imagine this did not go well for New York City. Only by the efforts of Nate Monroe and others fromt hat time in the city were they able to stop it.  Sadly, we had thought for good.  But that does not seem to be the case.

Next month I will be hosting with the other Bishops an Esbat to further discuss these matters and quell any fears that may have arisen.  I wish to make this perfectly clear, the situation is well under control.  We however do not wish to start a panic.  If any of our brothers and sisters would like to discuss this matter or any other, they are more then welcome to attend.

We have defeated this menace once before, we shall do so again.

There are rapidly spreading rumors of what is growing and possibly dying under the city.

(This is the public forum for IC discussion of that which dwells beneath)

December 9th, 2011

The following is a message that is left by word of  mouth and tags across the city.

"All Sabbat are invited to attend the Binding, which will be held on the beach at Coney Island, and officiated by Bishop Devareaux.  Following the Binding, Packs will be gathering for their assigned tasks for the Esbat."

Experience

A few clarifications for new players:

Besides joining the chronicle you must submit a character sheet for STs to view the sheet or award experience.

In general note what you are purchasing for the month in your journal.

All backgrounds and non-common abilites (demolitions, Tremere Lore etc.) require ST permission to purchase.

In clan disciplines cost 3,3,6,6,9.  They don't require a teacher.

Out of clan disciplines require a teacher and cost 4,4,7,7,10

Any questions or comments put it here or message me.

We as gamers are a community, and when one of our own is in need, it is up to all of us to step up and help. As many of you know Madelyn (tpo Dr. Sweets) was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago. Since then, Sooper (tpo Archon Plaugerat) and Madelyn have been struggling with many medical bill,s and we of the Mid – Atlantic would like to help.

So here is how we are going to help; we are going to offer what we are calling the Sooper Mad retest. For $ 5 you will be able to purchase a card good for one retest that can be used in any challenge against an ST. All proceeds will aid Madelyn and Sooper's medical bills. We will begin selling these shortly and they will be on sale until the Glitter and Gloom event in April. The Sooper Mad retest will be honored in Philadelphia, Baltimore (Vampire and Garou ), Annapolis, DC, NVA, Martinsburg, Fredricksburg and at The Glitter and Gloom event. If you have any questions, would like to purchase a Sooper Mad retest outside the Mid- Atlantic , or would like to simply make a separate donation, please contact me at phillystaff@googlegroups.com.
