Seasons of Strange

Seasons of Strange is a multi-genre chronicle. We will primarily be playing Vampire, Werewolf, Mage and Changeling. Other genres may be adopted into our rotation as well in the future.

Till further notice, we will be playing Werewolf: The Apocalypse.

Werewolf

The native people of the lands of Dutchess County have returned to reclaim what was theirs. The Garou are doing so as well... Some things that were thought gone, have been hiding in plain sight. Take back that which was and that which has yet to be from the agents of the Wyrm.

This is a Werewolf game set in Dutchess County, NY.

Vampire

Welcome to New Rochelle, a fairly new domain. Prince Martinez has now claimed this odd little Domain as his. Maybe this is the place for you to make a name for yourself? Perhaps this is where you wish to start up anew? Many things will come to pass here as with any fledgling Domain, nothing is written in stone and the only certainty is the changing of the seasons.

A Proclamation from Prince Blake

Kindred of the Domain of New Rochelle,

First I wish to call to attention all the services Primogen Vaughn has performed for our city as both Prince, Primogen, and temporary Keeper of Elysium, his actions will not soon be forgotten by those who live here. For now, I will be assuming the duties of Keeper of Elysium as well as Prince until I name a new Keeper at the next gathering. Our Primogen have a lot of work to do to help me get our city moving in the right direction, and I do not wish to have them distracted.

Second, I wish to recognize some of those who have done great services for our city.

As I have become *Famous in the domain of New Rochelle, I wish Sage Rosedale to be *Respected, for helping to lead us during our evening at the Asylum. His initiative was a driving force behind our 'escape' that evening.

Throughout my time in this city Enzu Baretti has unwaveringly kept the cities best interests at heart, and as *Well Known as I am, I would be wrong not to recognize how *Loyal he is to our city.

On a final note, during our troubled and stressful times at our last gathering we were galvanized to act to make some corrections that our city needed by Tiberious Flint. As I have been held as *Exalted within our city, I wish everyone to know how *Honorable he is.

A Proclamation from the Prince

Kindred of the domain of New Rochelle,

Most of you know me by now, however let's get somethings out of the way.

My name is Paul Blake, I am the Prince of New Rochelle, and I am kindred of action. I lead by example, and from the front lines. Nice words and pretty phrases are all fine and good, however, actions, as always, speak louder then words. I don't need you all to stand when I enter a room, I don't need Your Grace this, or Your Majesty that. My name is Paul, and I will not take offense if you call me by said name. I want you to show me respect by doing your duty to the best of your ability. If you make a mistake, do not fear to bring it to me. Everyone makes mistakes, and I acknowledge that, I prepared for it, and we will deal with them as they happen, however if you try to hide a mistake, or a mess that you have made, you will feel my full wrath. Mistakes can be forgiven, deception can not. If anyone is having an issue of any kind, please don't fear to bring it to my attention. Gutter is my Seneschal, and speaks with my voice when I am not available, however he is not my secretary, if you think it needs to be brought to my attention, bring it to me, and I will make sure that the right people deal with it. With the help I know you are all eager to give, we will make this city the example all other cities will be judged by.

To my Primogen council, I know due to the constant assault on all sides the city has faced recently, that recognition has been lacking. I want every member of the council to submit to me privately someone you wish to be recognized and why. Gutter and I will review your recommendations, and at next court, we will make our awards known.

XP mishap for some and an apology to all

I was just printing character sheets when I noticed that the XP I awarded, en mass, for last game disappeared from everyone's sheets! I appologize if this has caused problems and delays for you to spend XP. I take full blame for not following up and checking sheets as closely as I should have been. For this game I will be allowing expenditures before, at the begining, or at the very end of game.

I have chosen a new Seneschel for the Domain. Please give a warm and heart felt welcome to Mab Defoe of Clan Gangrel. Please assist her and show her the same dedication you have shown me. I would also like to remind The assembled Kindred that prestation and status should be honored and upheld. Status should be given to those who have gone beyond the call of duty...not just doing what should be done. The next Elysium will be at the art gallery...dress appropriately. The position of Scourge is still available, please, if it is your desire to help this domain prosper please ...contact me and we will set up a meeting. Also Primogen should sit at the front and Kindred will sit according to status most in front and least in back. End of the month reminders and such

A friendly reminder to get your Downtime Actions and/or Influence Actions to the staff. You have one week left to make all declarations. I thank those that got that in and have been waiting patiently for the results. Have you remembered to spend the XP you were awarded? Did you get awarded your XP? Is your character on Puppet Prince and Part of the Chronicle? If not please get that done so we can give you XP and "stuff".

Please remember, the more you put into things, the more staff will. We want you to get the most bang for your buck. We will not force you to put more time in than you are willing or able to.

To everyone who has picked up something odd (you know who you are) please come see a member of staff during sign-in and get an item card for said oddity. At this point if you don't know what odd items in this game are, you obviously don't have one yet.

Announcement for the Citizens of New Rochelle that have acknowledgement

Blessings and Good Fortune to those that reside in my domain. I require each acknowledged Kindred and those seeking hospitality.

I know that I have granted some citizens in my domain tolerance. Alot of new faces appeared and I would like to know who you are and how you see yourself befitting this city.

I would like two individuals with Aura perception to be in attendance. Also there will be a brief meeting with my officers following following court. Next court will be at (Country Club blah at location blah ). My blessings on you on this glorious Night.
