A Messenger's Arrival

A coyote spirit arrives at the Bawn. Making its way to the heart of the Caern, and purposefully drawing attention as it does, it gets up on a rock near the falls and proclaims loudly for all around to hear:
"Gather, all who would hear the message that the Lord Ronin 'No-Land's-King, Slayer-Of-Heroes, Light-Bringer, Hunter-of-Jarls, Crown-Breaker, Stands-in-Defiance-of-Gods' wishes delivered unto you:
Liam is under the protection of the Prides and a threat to him is a threat to all of them. This declaration is seen as an act of war and unless Trent Hunts-with-Loki Alpha of the Broken Spear bears his throat and performs the proper rite, there will be much blood shed. Seek mercy or their won't be enough Garou in your Sept to play at warriors with any longer. My spear awaits your answer."

Several months ago, a major violation of the Litany was revealed to our Sept. Liam "Blows up the Protestants," formerly of the Fianna Tribe, and Soleil "Knows the Secrets of Words," of the Silent Striders, committed a horrible crime by conceiving a Metis child, and concealing that fact until near the time of its birth. This is against the laws of our Nation, for good reason. Such children are deformed and sterile. They cannot have children of their own.
Furthermore, actions like this are an insult to our Kin, who should be our honorable mates. They are an insult to our duty to Gaia - who, in her wisdom, determined that we should always remember that we are half wolf, and half human, and that we remain tied to both of those worlds.
At the time these crimes came out, I argued strongly for mercy. In many Septs, both parents would have been put to death; in some Septs, the metis child as well. I thought that Liam and Soleil should have a chance to take their punishment, and a chance to redeem themselves in the eyes of the Nation.
Liam has spat on the Mercy shown by this Sept. Rather than deal with the consequences of his actions, and accept the punishment levied for his crime, he has declared himself no longer a member of the Garou Nation, and, in his mind, no longer subject to the Litany.
By doing this, he throws away every scrap of honor or glory he had ever earned. He is a nothing but a child throwing a tantrum.
Due to the punishments levied for his original crime, he is no longer of high enough Rank for our Council of Elders to judge him. Instead, the Philodox of our Sept have met. Perun Pomsta, as Trutchcatcher; Musashi Walks the Narrow Path, recently returned from an audience with King Albrecht; and Alex Burns the Past have made their judgement, and communicated it to me.
Liam the Ronin is exiled from our Sept, our Bawn, our Territory, and our Protectorate from this moment onward, on pain of death. He is a traitor to our Nation and to our Sept - a liar, and an honor-less cur. He is to be killed on sight.

For those who stay on the caern, Perun who is often hanging around the caern and doing wolf stuff seems to up and leave one day, with the spirits no longer knowing him to be local and the territory once marked as his is now abandoned.

Hello players.
Negativity is a seemingly natural part of gaming these days but I would like to take a moment to remind you, our beloved player base of where and when negativity is acceptable. If you have a complaint or some issue you're having with game, please send it to us, staff.
Spreading it elsewhere only serves to make matters worse and generally leads to burnout from your storytellers, who pour their heart and soul into the chronicle.
Having fun is your number one priority. Your number two is providing for a positive gaming community that all games need to survive.
