custom things

There was a new prop that was passed that requires all characters with Custom powers on thier sheet to have said things notified to proper coords to be archived.
This means your characters with custom things on their sheet are now considered to be notify classification.
If you have a character based in DCH We need you to send us a list of all custom powers, rituals abilitys, backgrounds merits, custom anything.
If you or a player or a staff member or some one in coord land made it up and it doesn't exsist in a book it is custom.
Staff is aware of what the org is asking in relation to custom material. DCH staff is adding any other custom things to that list for our records so we can have an expanded Gdoc list of all this info.

List each Custom thing you have start the name of it and follow it with with the rules.
Staff will then send it to the proper Coord.
We are giving Every one 2 Weeks to get this info to us. Players have until Feb 7th to get the data to us.
Characters who fail to get this information to us in the time presented, Characters who have not been submitted will loose any custom stuff not submited.
Staff has a lot of Characters to go through for DCH, and there is a deadline on our end.
If any pc has already sent their info to the proper coords than please forward or cc us on that email so we can give you the ok.

While the Org is only looking for Ghoul and Vampire custom things, Keith and the dc staff are compiling a document for all genres, so they may quickly respond if the other genres get tagged as well.

We have been doing some discussing the giving the players the ability to purchase the above mentioned gifts.
We have finally come to a consensus: We will allow players to purchase a number of these gifts equal to their rank, but only those of Basic powers.
If you wish to purchase one, please post the gift and an explanation why in your journal.

IC: Challenges

OOC: First this thread is for the PCs to decalre challenges.
Second, I will give some basic etiquette for challenges and a basic form for your declaration.
The format typically follows a I challenge you format. When you challenge for rank you typically bring a gift of a talen or fetish to the one you challenge. Once you have received your challenge, the Master of the Chalenge will declare it to be valid or invalid. If the challenge is found to be valid you may accept it or decline it, should you decline there is a renown loss. For rank challenges the renown lost will be anything in excess of your current rank's minimum renown. Other challenges will have renown losses that vary based off the challenge. If the challenge is found to be invalid, then there is no renown loss for declining it.
Who is eligible to be challenged? For rank challenges it is anyone, not in yout pack, who shares your auspice, tribe, or breed. The preference is for someone who is your auspice and tribe, but most challenge on or the other. Also, the challenged must be no more than 2 ranks higher than you. For positional challenges, you challenge the current holder of the position, if the position is not filled, you challenge the Master of the Challenge (rank does not matter here). When traveling outside of the Sept, it is not required, but strongly reccomended that you inform your local Master of the Challenge of your intent.
What is a valid challenge? Anything the Master declares as such. Just make sure it applies to the reason for the challenge.
How to phrase your challenge? I, <insert name with deed name(s)>, <tribe>, <breed>, <auspice>, <pack name, with position>, <current rank> of the nation challenge <insert challenged's name with deed names> <insert reason why>
Formal Terms: All tribe begin with child of then finish with a descriptive term for the Tribal Totem or the Totem's names, like Great Fenris Wolf, Stag, or Unicorn. Feel free to be descriptive; Breed - Homids are Born on Two Legs under, Lupus are Runs on Four Legs under, etc.; Auspices are done with a description of the moon phase, from the simpleness of Full Moon's Light to the Darkness of the Laughing Moon, and everything in between, again feel free to express yourself.
Reason to challenge: Rank - you would challenge to be recognized as a different rank, Position you would challenge to for the right to be called that position.
