"Batman Retests" - Charity Retests for Ryan, Sarah, and Hudson Gay

Hello, everyone!

In light of the wonderful success that the SooperMad Retest Campaign has experienced, I'd like to put forth another cause for us to rally behind. Meet Hudson Gay, son of long-time org player Ryan Gay and his wife Sarah:

Hudson is almost 3 months old now and has a rare congenital heart defect that has given him a solid wall in his heart where a ventricle should be. The situation can normally be remedied by surgeries, but due to unforeseen factors his doctors have recently recommended him, instead, for a heart transplant.

Hudson's story can be found at Ryan and Sarah's blog Letters About Batman, but in the meantime his family is living in Family Housing at the Children's Hospital where Hudson spends much of his time.  Ryan and Sarah are both very strong, self-sufficient people but the housing is costly and they need to stay as close to him as possible while he's in the hospital.  And Ryan, like Sooper and Madelyn, is a long-time OWBN player with deep roots in our community of nerds.

It's in that spirit that I would like to propose the Batman Retest Campaign.   I will provide templates (and/or snail mail pre-printed cards) to any chronicles willing to support the retest, along with a link to the retest card tracking spreadsheet and contact information for donation proceeds.  The creation of the retest cards is still in progress, but our suggestion is:
Batman Retest vs. ST Chops ($5): One retest in any ST-run RPS challenge.

  Ok, now that we have everything squared away.

   If you would like a copy of the card file, please email batmanretests@gmail.com, we will send you the PDF for 10 cards/page. (If you NEED printed cards, please provide an address and a number of cards desired. We are trying to cut the mass printing costs out of the equation, because that gets expensive fast!

Tickets are $5/ea. and money should be sent via paypal to batmanretests@gmail.com, once accounted for, it will be sent to the family. We just wanted an account that gets no outside activity, other than donations for this.

For our tracking purposes, we are asking that games that sell cards number them with your chronicle's initials and a number.

as an example Springfield: Capitol City Cauldron will start with SCCC1

and record tickets you sold here: http://bit.ly/batmanretestsales, in case another game needs to verify that someone got the tickets legitimately. We are hoping that this never comes up, but are preparing for it, in case.

Beltaine 2012 Reminder

Hey all!

Just wanted to remind everyone that the Beltane event is coming up soon!  Also, I've been asked about sheets - for Garou side, please send them in by May 15th.
