For those of you going to Nonclave!

A friendly reminder that site is... "rustic."

These things are all good things to bring:

Bug Spray
Sunblock
Folding Chairs (camp folding chairs)
Package of bottled water
Munchies
Trash Bags to clean up after yourselves

If you're staying onsite, don't forget:

Sleeping bag and pillow
towel for showers (also flip flops aren't a bad idea)
Flash lights

A reminder to all OWbN games: Archivist Reports are due end of August.

Greetings all,

  Its that wonderful time of the year again where the August 2012 Archivist Chronicle Reports are due per Administrative Bylaw 8.D.iii.2.  Please log into the OWbN website using either your HST or CM account.  Navigate to the upper right hand corner and select "Admin Dashboard".  From there, select your Chronicle Name, then under the map click on "Submit New Archivist Report".  Please complete this report by the end of August.

IC Information to the Camarilla for the Atlanta event.

There’s more going on during Prince McMillan’s Symposium in Atlanta from Sept 27th to Sept 30th, and its shaping up to be a fine occasion, so please come join us!

     As to the subject of those talks, Prince McMillan seems to be playing that close to his vest; I'm not sure why but if it's to drum up curiosity, it's worked on me! 

     On top of informal talks Prince McMillan would like to have over things of importance to the Camarilla, the Toreador of Georgia have already begun preparations for the Moonlight & Magnolias ball as they’ve announced previously. Our own Toreador Primogen, Davy Blanchett, is also going to be “tying the knot”, in front of God and everybody!  Just Davy and his blushing bride, against the world, till death do they part, forever.

      No pressure, Davy.

      The Gangrel have also decided to put together a scavenger hunt of sorts, but I’m not on the planning committee for that one. For more information, you’ll have to speak to Harpy Greg Fields. I’m sure its going to be rife with our usual antics, though, and could be a lot of fun.

      Primogen Cotton Jasper of Clan Nosferatu in Savannah, GA and I have a passion in common; poker.  So, while folks are still shuffling in from out of town for the Symposium and other festivites, Cotton and I are going to host a poker game.

Texas Hold 'em, of course.
Buy in is minimum $5000 or a minor boon to be awarded to the winner. That will get you $5000 in chips to play with.
If you buy in with both $5000 and a minor boon to be paid to the winner, or a major boon to be paid to the winner, you'll get $7500 in chips to play with.
Winner takes all, and since Cotton is kind enough to host this for us, she will retain ten percent of the cash and a boon of her choosing from the pot.

Winner takes the rest.

To make it interesting, cross-table chatter and distraction is encouraged. If you think you're good enough to cheat and not get caught...well, might want to try your luck. If you do get caught, you forfit any earnings, and its highly recommended you offer trivial boons to everyone still left at the table when you're asked to leave.
