I am making the OFFICIAL POST in the COMMENTS, to keep the home/blog page a little bit lite.
Please review what I have posted. They are still being fine tuned by the staff, but I would like your input, feedback, critic like behavoir, suggestions, etc...

I just want to state now that this has taken me most of the day to formulate and was not just a gut reaction. I have several concerns and points to address
Earlier today a post was canceled on our open forum, due to behavior that was not respectful and rather insulting to both the staff and to other players. This behavior is not acceptable. I am not getting into names, or say who is at fault. However as HST I will not tolerate verbal abuse, and will treat it the same as I would treat physical attack. You will be asked to leave game for the remainder of the evening. If it happens like it did on puppet, I will take your post down. This goes for players and for storytellers. I will not tolerate any bulling or abuse of any kind in my game, ever. This is for fun with our friends.
Two. We has staff had made our self available to talk to, in multiple ways, and multiple venues. Most of you have my cell phone, my house line, my email address, puppet prince, and even see me in person. I am willing to here your complaints. I do listen, and consider what you said. Just because I don't agree with you doesn’t mean I didn't hear you. Everyone is entitled to there own opinion. And ultimately the final decision about what happens in regards to the running of game is the HST. If you feel that you are unable to live with the decisions the staff makes, can’t trust your staff and are not having fun at game, leave.
I want to move forward. One of Hartford strength has been that it has existed for ten years, however one of it's weakness's is that it has existed for ten years. I get that it comes with baggage, and have often heard how it is the hardest game to run. I have heard all the stories of pervious HST and how game was or was not fun. We can not move forward as a game, if we are constantly mired in the past. I was not here ten years ago, most of those who currently play were also not here ten years ago. It is time to move on.
The staff and I are hear to run Dark Colony. We want to tell your stories, and run a game that people enjoy. We have two staff meetings a month, and spend countless hours online with each other working out plot. We do not make descions lightly, and the assumption that we don't think out our actions is wrong. We are not our to get you, we are trying to tell a good story.
So where this all leaves us is up to you, I am going to be at the next game. My staff will be there and there will be stories, and plot. It is your call weather you will be there..

The frist offical game of Dark Colony will be tonight with game starting @7:30. The are suppose to be scartterd snow showers on and off all day into the night with about and inch to two inches of acculmulation. Please keep this in mind and drive safe, but as of right now we will still be having game, and look forward to seeing there.

There will no longer be two influence cycles per month.
There will be only one influence cycle per month.
Plan appropriately.
We will be instituting caps on pools/traits available within the game, this implementation will not affect any current standings.
Full updates, clarifications, additions, etc will be posted before game kicks off Friday, and a hard copy will be available for review at game proper.
Feel free to post any questions here, or shoot me a private message.
Sign-In starts at 7, opening announcements at 7.30, game on after that.

Picture, the inky black and white of newspaper : A christmas tree lays toppled, broken ornaments scattered around it, tinsel and lights hanging lopsided. Presents tossed about haphazardly, torn, crushed, skewed. Spilled mugs of hot choclate stain tables and carpet. All being looked at through a large bay window, a bullet hole centered amongst a spider web of cracks.

article - Close to eight am Friday morning, Christmas Day, Johnathan Swift was killed brutally in his home. The family had just settled down to gifts with hot chocolate, after a warm homeade breakfast with everyone in town. Family for the holidays. The children, Mystica Swift, 16. Jaquelynn, 13, are still in shock, under private care in a local hospital. Sprayed with the remains of the fathers head will sitting before the tree opening presents. Colin, 9, was grazed in the leg while in the lap of his mother, wife, Marilyn, on the couch. He remains in ICU for monitoring. We have had reports that the victim was leaning over to pass out another round of merrily wrapped goodies, when the crack of glass precursored the screaming panic of the household. Neighbors, friends, and colleagues have showed a huge outpouring of protecting the family from the media turning this time of crisis and trauma.
In statements made to the authorities, no shots were heard by those nearby, the two closests homes about 2 acres away on either side. Based on preliminary reports of trajectory, it would seem the shooter was across the street, just behind a small burm bordering open, wild fields. The weapon no doubt military grade with illegal modifications. Prints have been found in the snow, and a search team is still out on the trail, dogs leading the way.
One has to wonder who would do such a thing, send such a violent, visceral message? We can only hope that plans here in Conneticuit are not affected for construction and growth.
