Dark Colony: Hartford is an OWBN Camarilla Vampire Larp set in Hartford, CT. The longest running continous OWBN game in New England. DC:H is a continuation of the vampire chronicles Court of Storms and Hartford by Night (started in 1998). Set to the World of Darkness theme for Gothic Punk Personal Horror. We play every fourth Friday of the month, and aim to give you dark tales of horror, set to the back drop of a classic world of darkness.

I'm on one. So I'm not really going to be avaible for game stuff for a while. I'm not leaving staff. Just recharging the batteries. I'll let you all know when my vaca is done.

In light of the past two weeks, I will like to inform the player base of some changes that will be accuring during this next game or so...
I personally would like to thank Jer for the service that he has given to Hartford, and I turely appericate all the hard work he has been doing. In light of Jer stepping off staff, I will be taking over influence. As far as plots and NPC's that Jer was running we will be doing reoganzation over the course of the next month and more information will be comming.
I know that there are concerns over the game, and I turely do appericate the patient in the last two weeks you the players have given the staff. I thank you deeply for that, and I am turely looking forward to moving forward.
This Friday's game will be our last game going for two games a month. After that Dark Colony will be taking place on the fourth Friday of every month. Westchester will be the second Friday of the month.

Over the course of the next several weeks advertisments can be seen on TV, the newspapers and Blillboards throughout Hartford for a new show to premiere late night on WFSB at midnight. The show titled Tales of Terror, is a classic horror movie show hosted by the vampire Mistress Valentine. The show is in the vain of Movie Macarbe, Fright Night, and the Vampira Show. It is a mixture of horror and comedy as the host, Mistress Valentine, frequntly will interject in the movies making fun of them. After each evening Mistress Valetine reminds the viewers that monsters are only real in movies, and that the real monsters are the people who do awful things. Her end catch phrase is "Sweet Nightmares my pets."
The show is slated to air the first week of june and air's every single friday and saturday night. It is a proudly produced local show that seems to have a lot of people excitied for it. The actress who plays Mistress Valentine is unknown at this time. She hasn't done any interviews or appearances outside of the characther, who apears as such:

It's been one year since my last downtime scene at Elizabeth Park and to not disappoint we are doing it again this year and going bigger! This year Lex is joining me in telling this tale which I have high hopes to be just as memorable and awesome as last years. If you missed it last year be sure not to miss it this year!
This Saturday at Elizabeth Park Hartford CT at 2:30 pm meet at the gazebo. Come with trust, open minds, and willingness to have fun, and I promise you will enjoy it!
