Boston: Reclaimed

For years the city of Boston was claimed after its fall to the ancient and mysterious entities known as the Deava. During that time the Sabbat fled deeper into it established territory and waited for the night to reclaim what was theirs. After many years, and in 2020 the Sabbat lead a massive Crusade to reclaim the city. After many losses and blood spilt the city was there's once more.

Once returned home the sect was shocked to find a near mortal utopia. The city was devoid of any supernaturals and had appeared to have been for years. Now the sect slowly moves back into one of its shinning jewels in its blood empire. Sect members travel to the city with no ancient web of elder influence and connections. Each lookign to carve their own path and claim what power they desire. It is only a matter of time before the city of Bosotn becomes a dystopia and takes whatever form the various factions of the Sabbat decide it can be.

NEE Hotel Rooms Last Call

I just got off the phone with the hotel for the NEE, and our guest room block is sold out. If you want a room and have not yet booked, it's not too late. Call 860 386 7846 and ask for Peg to hook you up with a room at the group rate. This offer expires at 5:30 today. After that, you pay the higher regular rate.

NE Event This Weekend!

The NE event is this weekend! I know some of you are going with your Cam PCs, but for those who don't want to, or may want a change of pace, there is going to be a Sabbat thing on Saturday by word of Adam Sartori! Talk to him about submitting your character sheets, etc. =)

New Form for Write-Ups

People post all kinds of things in write-ups. Some people write gorgeous narratives of life as a vampire. Others write hit lists, gossip rag snark, or mile-long gchat logs. All of these things are amazing, and show us how much you love your PC, and the RP you get in downtime. Keep it up, however....

As I'm sure many of you who have ST'd before can attest, we have A LOT to read over the course of the month. Some things are of more direct use to us as a staff in a write-up than others.

This write-up form contains a list of the things that we want to know about your downtime activities. Please use it, in addition to any of your other write-ups.

Character Interactions: What significant interactions did you have with other characters (PC or NPC) did you have at Boston, or any other chronicle you attended. Who do you love? Who do you hate? Who fucked you over? Who did you fuck over? Tell us how you really feel about the Cainites around you.

Drastic Occurances: Did anything rock your world? Did anything seriously change your point of view? Things that fall under this category might be, "I diablorized three Cainites." or "I resolved my awesome personal plot." or "I messed with the city's ley lines to stop the NPCs from summoning and binding a demon."

Feeding: How do you feed? Where do you feed? How are you getting your blood?

Goals: Some immediate, some long term. What do you want to accomplish?

Downtime actions: What are you doing mid-month that the staff needs to know about? Hunting demons? Gathering ritual components? Collecting kittens and puppies to put into a blender? Visiting other cities?

Influence: If you have influence, what is it? (Minimum three word response). IE: Instead of "Underworld", "IRA Gun Runners". Instead of "Church", instead "The Sisters of St. Whatever." is more helpful. What would you like to do with your influence? How do you maintain it, you inhuman monster?

XP: What have you earned, and how would you like to spend it? I know this is redundant, but it's good to have records.

The Player Survey

To Boston players: So far, we have received 8 surveys returned, half of which came back from KONY players. I know we didn't offer any XP or anything for this survey, as most of you will have maxed out this month anyway, but please take the time to fill it out. We want to know how you play, and we want to know what kinds of stuff to run that you will love.

If you feel like you PC hasn't gotten a lot of love, now is your chance. Tell us about what you want.

To KONY players: I see that many of you have submitted your characters to the Boston chronicle. This is great, but in your journal entries, when you need the attention of the Boston staff, would you be so kind as to put something to the effect of "ATTN BOSTON STAFF" in the subject line so we don't gloss over it.
