While I will be playing my Cam PC at Midwinter in Milwaukee, Dave is stuck home working. (New job.) So.
GAME IS ON for January 20 - regular time, regular night, regular location. Dave and Steve will be running by themselves. Don't burn the place down while I'm gone. If anything major blows up, I'm only a phone call or text away.

Hey guys,
The deadline for character submission/pre-reg for Midwinter in Milwaukee is coming up soon. If you plan on going and playing your Boston based PC, please convert your sheets to PDF (with Puppet's pro function or whatever else...) and email them to us. The primitive savages don't use Puppet.

OOC for those who may not know:
The Binding
Taking place on the night of the Winter Solstice, this solemn ceremony symbolizes the unity of the Sabbat and the inevitability of its triumph. Local packs gather together for this formal oath of allegiance, and even nomadic packs will join their settled brethren in nearby cities to observe this rite. If possible, a higher ranking officer such as a Bishop or Arch Bishop will lead the ritual.
The Binding takes place near to a body of water such as the ocean, a lake or river, or a waterfall. Fountains are also acceptable, but less powerful images, and in the most desperate of situations a square of white cloth may suffice. The water symbolizes the Sabbat and its ability to overcome any obstacle. The rite opens with a recitation of the Sabbat's creed and often concludes with a Vaulderie and formal oath to the sect.
For one month following the Binding, all participants' Vinculum ratings are one higher than normal.

December is the Sabbat holiday, the Binding - I like to think of it as Sabbat Christmas. The rite typically takes place near water, symbolizing the Sabbat's ability to ebb and flow and overcome all obstacles. It is, in part, a giant group vaulderie in which the Sabbat renews its ties of fraternity.
Any clergy interested in hosting the rite?
Anyone interested in hosting the esbat (sabbat gathering, for those not in the know)?
Drop staff a line.

At our staff meeting last night, we were realizing that a lot of you have been very busy little bees in downtime. We noticed we would be running a LOT of pre game scenes. If you think you're on our list, show up to game early. Dave and I will be there between 6 and 6:30 for game-on at 7:30. In particular, if you have an influence-related pre-game scene, we would like to see you early.

It occurs to me that, as it isn't in LOTN:R, some people may not know about Domain: how it works, or that it is available. Therefore, in summary:
Domain is a 1-5 Background that represents control over an area of the city. It is, essentially, your territory/hunting ground. Packs may pool Domain to control a larger area, or increase their control over a smaller area.
Every level lets you start with an additional Blood Trait, much like Herd. In addition, you may designate dots to security as oppossed to size. If someone comes into your territory, security dots give you a chance of knowing, and increase their difficulty to hunt, or do much of anything else.
Domain 5 will get you a small neighborhood, generally. Assume that some NPC packs already have Domain if you know of their territories IC; its a fair bet the Roxbury girls have staked out Roxbury as a communal Domain, for instance.
