Just to put it out there officially, if anyone is unaware of our six month inactive rule. If the staff gets no communication from a player about their Boston based PC for a period of six months, that PC will be removed from our books and no longer valid for play.
All that is required to avoid this is to inform a staff member via Puppet Prince, email us at
BostonSabbat@gmail.com, or speak to one of us at game and let us know you need to shelve the character. If, for some reason, you cannot reach us through those methods, either have someone pass along to us to give you a call, or if you have one of our numbers, feel free to give us a call. I will not be making my number public, nor do I expect Kat or Lex to do so, but I believe plenty of folks can reach one of us if need be.
The reason for this policy is that for too long, Boston was a holding pen for org PCs. This will no longer be the case. Also, if anyone didn't already know, all PCs that were based in Boston prior to my taking over as HST a year ago that have not spoken with me about their PCs have been removed from the books and administratively GNC'd.

Hey guys,
Now that I've got my computer back up and running again thanks to Tammy, I'm working my way through people's journals on here. Several of you have posted backstories...this is awesome. Staff will definitely use stuff you give us, though perhaps not always in the ways you expect.
That being said, if you haven't already submitted a backstory to us, it's not too late. I know I will read them, and I believe Lex and Adam both read them as well. They can be as short as a couple of sentences, or as long as several pages.
Journal entries are also cool. Anything that lets us get to know your characters better is very much appreciated.

ok folks here you go just rember that this is a living document and as suck may grow and change from time to time.
0. As always, the staff reserves the right to do anything at any time for any reason not withstanding any other rule, clause,
house rule or anything else whatsoever.
1. With the exception of Prowess, Potence may not be used in conjunction with Celerity. (You only win on ties once.)
2. Feeding tests: On a win, you are full. On a loss you are at half your blood pool. On a tie,
you are at half your blood pool plus your Feeding Grounds Background. Feeding Grounds ratings (1-5) will be assigned to you by the staff.
3. Majesty is line of interaction. If you can interact with the character, you are affected by Majesty.
4. Potency of Blood: When using this Discipline your blood pool does expand.
5. For Rituals of any kind, (Thaumaturgy/Necromancy etc.)
you must have the text of the mechanics of the ritual written out on an index card with the citation of the document and page number from which it came.
Additionally, you are encouraged to have with you props for all of your ritual components. (Within reason, of course.)
6. Obtenebration 3: Arms of the Abyss - You may only summon/control the number of tentacles equal to the sum of your Occult score plus your Obtenebration score divided by two, rounded down.
Vissistidue 5: Blood form-this power is instantaneus and may be used reflexively when attacked you may turn any part of your body to blood and negate the physical damge. other sorces of damge still apply ( fire, wards ect..)
at the cost of one blood trait.Also you must declare truning your heart to blood before the stacking challanges.
7. When piercing another's Obfuscate, you add a number of traits equal to levels of your Auspex.
When testing against Auspex, the Obfuscate user adds a number of traits equal to his/her Obfuscate rating.
8. Influence: We use the system detailed in Dark Epics. You may not have more than 5 in any one sphere.
9. Fame is capped at 3 at character creation.
10. Willpower may be spent to ignore frenzy. for 15 min if the stumulis is still there you frenzy no test.
11. Nothing explodes in Boston. When you think you need explosives, what you actually need is fire.
Consequently, the ability "Demolitions" is not allowed.
12. Character Creation: We allow as starting characters, Lasombra, Tizmecie,panders,serpents of the light,Anittribue- Brujah, Malkavians, Nosferatu, Toreador,assmite warriors,Gangreal, and Ventrue.

Alright, you crazy, sick psychopaths ... (love you all)
Over the month, I'll be adding people characters into the database and transferring them to their owners. However, just in case, would everyone with a character based in Cradle of Liberty that does NOT already have their character posted on Puppet Prince please reply to this post with your real name and your character name so that I know for sure that I'm sending peoples' characters to the right places.

P.S. - Since Adam GNC'ed Chase Ashford last time, I will unilaterally ressurect Chase Ashford ... as a Mummy.
