Downtime Actions Due
Just a reminder that downtime actions are due to tomorrow night for maximum XP.
Also, if you were not able to attend last game you can still earn XP from the timely submission of your DTAs. You can also earn by writing a Journal telling us what your character has been up to during the month.
New Britain Herald
Advertising slots for this month are available in the New Britain Herald. You need to have a total of 3 dots in resources to take out an ad.
For the purposes of taking out an ad, having a location with the Profitable quality counts as an additional Resources dot.

Thank You All For Coming!
The STs and our NPC crew want to thank you all for attending on Saturday! We hope you had as much fun playing as we did running the game.

Controlled Stock Locations
Once you have gained control of a stock location, we will need to keep track of it. A stock locations' qualities can be changed or added to by the character that controls them, through further Quests. They can also gain temporary bonus qualities from advertising or clever use of influence.
But they can also be attacked, gaining negative qualities that reduce their effectiveness.
So once you have a stock location please create a Journal Entry for us. See below for an example of how to format it.

Quest Story
I stormed into the Finnegans front office, with my ally behind me, using his intimidating presence to ensure the goons at the door didn’t stop me. With the information that my Nosferatu friend had gathered on the secret room behind the fish gutting room, I made my position very clear. Either they worked for me now, or their operation was shut down.
Once you have this entry ready for us, the STs will post changes or updates to this location in replies to its journal entry.

Journaling and DTA deadlines
While the deadline to earn XP for your DTAs was up on Sunday, you can still submit them to us if you want to take any actions.
Those of you that have not yet submitted a journal for the additional 2XP, you can still do so right up until the game starts on Saturday.

Advertising Space in New Britain Herald
Advertising a business based out of a location that you control in the New Britain Herald can bring some very positive benefits. It may add a temporary location trait, or it may give you a boost to one of your own backgrounds.
The Herald will be published on the Thursday before each game, and any benefits gained from advertising will take effect during the downtime period following that game.
Currently, the requirement for placing an advertisement is 3 dots in the Resources background. That requirement may change from month to month.
Please reach out to me (Sam) if you wish to place an ad. You can either submit something you have created yourself (as long as it fits into the space provided) or you can tell me what you want to advertise and I can help you design your ad.
Below is the template for the New Britain Herald and the available advertising slots.
DTA Deadline One
The first deadline for Downtime Actions is tonight, (Sunday 27th March) at midnight, in order to earn the top possible XP for them.
Personal Journals
Please record your journals for us, let us know what your character experienced at game, to earn the Journaling XP award. It’s been great to see some of the entries we’ve had so far. Some have got really creative with in character audio recordings and others have written some awesome prose. Thank You!
It really helps us to craft the plot and learn where your characters are going.

Post-Event Thankyou!
We want to say a big thank-you to all our players, we hope you all enjoyed yourselves at the first official ‘full’ event for NEN New Britain.
We are still finding our feet with this new game, and we always appreciate any feedback you have for us. Please message a member of the ST team through Facebook or the Discord channel, and let us know what you want to get out of this game.
Feeding Territories
After negotiations with each clan, Prince Godfrey has now announced the feeding territories for his domain. They are posted here at the top of our puppet page.
In a change from how feeding territories worked before, these territories were bought collectively by each Clan using Boons.
This means the allocation of these territories cannot be changed by the Primogen Council.. They may be sold on for more Boons, but doing so will require the agreement of all members of the clan with Hospitality in the domain.
Each territory is now the responsibility of the clan that claims it. They take responsibility for any violations of the Traditions taking place on their turf.
Completed Quests for Locations
If you succeeded in one of the Simple Quests to acquire a location that was given out with last month's DTAs, please make an entry in your journal, describe how you met the requirements and the events that unfolded during the quest for us.
Once we have your journal entry, we can then grant you the stock location in a reply. We can then use that Journal entry to keep track of any further changes to that location.
Note that while some requirements for a quest may require you to spend DTAs or Influence actions, they cannot be completed in your DTAs. They require interaction with an ST to run the challenges and assign the consequences.
Even if you decide to simply skip the quest requirement by using Resources you must still make the journal entry and tell us how you did it to receive the reward.
