So, you've filled out one of the worksheets we handed out, and are wondering "So... my sheet is where?"
Here's the answer to that, and many of your followup questions too. If your sheet made it to staff, Ben's put it into a database. It's a big block of bits that aren't very useful to you. At game, you'll be given a paper copy to take with you. After game, take it home, and put it into puppet. Then submit it to the chronicle, and it'll show up in our list. You'll also appear under Newest Characters, so your friends can see that you did it.
You have control of the sheet from there out.
"But wait!" you ask "I can put anything on it I want?"
"No!" we reply "We still have a seperate copy in the database, and Ben's auditing a few every month. We expect to find discrepencies (your notes say you have 6 pistols, and our records say 5, where'd you get the other one?), and resolve them, but we'd notice pretty quickly if you were magic penciling (your sheet says Celerity 6, but our records say 2. Where's you get the other 4 levels of Celerity dude?)
"But what about XPs? I like those!" you ask.
"You get them" we reply "so long as you post what you're learning"
Posting your learning requires using your character Journal. It's at the top of the puppet page when you're looking at your character. Make a post each month. In it, please put down the following:
- What you're learning (both things you're learning)
- Who's teaching you (for each)
- Whom you're teaching
- What you're teaching them
Before game, we'll match it up, and a note will appear in your XP log, telling you when you've finished learning the thing. Please remember, you get two (2) seperate things to be learning at a time, so make sure to get them both down, or your XPs will be sad and lonely without you.
"What else can I do with my Journal?" you ask, clearly on a roll.
"You can post your character questions, backstory, and downtime actions there" we reply, having carefully prepared a response.
"Character Questions?" you ask
"Simple" we reply.
Character questions are found here:

We need you to do the first five (5), but if you answer them all, you get two (2) more freebies. Love your dots? Answer the quesions. Put them in your journal for freebie points. Put just the 5, and that's okay, you can always get the rest later. They're to help you think through your character. They're also to help us think about plots for you.
Happy dots are dots that have puppets, so get your dots into puppet, as soon as you can.
