Hartford's First Annual Holiday Festival

by Kevin O'Connor

December 20th, 2016

(IC public advertisement from the City of Hartford)

Hartford's First Annual Holiday Festival will be happening this year on Friday, December 23rd from 4pm to 10pm on Trinity St in Bushnell Park in front of the Memorial Arch.

The magic of the holidays is coming to Downtown Hartford this Friday evening in Bushnell Park! Bring your kids to meet Olaf the Snowman from Disney's Frozen and to sing non-denominational carols while drinking a warm cup of hot chocolate.  Marvel at the secular white holiday lights in the trees as we gather to celebrate the holiday season.

Trinity Street will be closed from Elm to Ford for the duration of this festival. The Bushnell Park Carousel will be open during the Festival and Winterfest ice skating will still be happening as scheduled.

Admission is free to the public. Cups of hot chocolate and carousel rides for children will be available for $1.00 each.

Local Sponsors include:

Announcement from Lenny!!!

by Lex

December 2nd, 2016

Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen.

It has been a difficult few months for all of us. In the face of ever present threats, we have come together again and again for not only the benefit of this domain but helping to stabilize the region in which we live. We continue to fight and preserve our homes in the face of dangers such as the Daeva. I think all of you for your contributions, and for those who have gone far and above the call of duty.

Gideon and Joseph Von Hildebrandt,  for their constant vigilance in neutralizing the threats that face us - as I am cherished and esteemed, the both of you should be seen as Champions of the Camarilla.

Tara O'Brien, Lin-Mei "Elly" Yuen, Che Valiente, Ash Dii, Kyle Strom, and Angelize Valez - for your continued work in helping both this domain and our neighboring domain of Stamford - You shall all be seen as Fearless within the Camarilla ((Spending 6 status))
Finally, Mr. Nicholas Worthington. Nicholas Worthington lost his life in the fight with the daeva this past gathering. We remember his contribution to our cause and honor his memory. As I am Trusted, He shall be forever known as Valorous in the eyes of the Camarilla.

Thank you, and be safe.

1st Friday Elysium

by Lex

November 23rd, 2016

Hey guys, following the spirit of an old Dark Colony tradition, I would like to begin hosting a soft RP night for Dark Colony players and visitors. it would be meant for socializing, clan meetings etc but not for running plots or combats. STs would actually be taking the night off and portraying pcs themselves or utilizing an npc to talk about x y and z going on around the domain.

This game would have a $6 charge and would go towards site and a future event.

Feedback is needed!

Sightings

by Lex

November 23rd, 2016

More and more frequently, Anarchs and Thin Bloods are appearing in Hartford, all of them having fled northern CT and other regions of the state. Many of them do so telling stories of "The Forgotten Ones", "Smoke Creatures" or "Daeva" bringing ruin to the unlives of Kindred making their lives out in the Barrens.

Because of this, feeding is an increasingly serious issue. Much worse, the condensed population creates a major risk for the Masquerade.
