Tonight, you become one of the Kindred, the beautiful and the damned who hide behind our ordinary world. Driven by a hunger like fire, you will struggle to maintain your humanity while immersed in a vicious society of monsters.
The sharks you swim with deadly. The Kindred are the smart, sexy vampires of pop culture, but cruelty is in the nature of kindred and Hartford is one of the most dangerous cities they hold. Why come here if doing so can be a detriment to immortality?

Dark Colony: Hartford is an OWBN Camarilla Vampire Larp set in Hartford, CT. The longest running continous OWBN game in New England. DC:H is a continuation of the vampire chronicles Court of Storms and Hartford by Night (started in 1998). Set to the World of Darkness theme for Gothic Punk Personal Horror. We play every fourth Friday of the month, and aim to give you dark tales of horror, set to the back drop of a classic world of darkness.

Warning: Atypical Game Tonight!

Our Fearless Leader Lex Lopez is unable to attend game tonight. Therefore, I will be running a fairly atypical game tonight, similar to the Wormwood game a few months ago. So here's your warning in advance:
-Be prepared to roleplay. In live-action. There will be little to no private scenes happening.
-Be prepared to have most your character sheet temporarily denied or altered.
-No pre-game declarations. No rituals or item cards signed. Downtime actions that you want answered will be answered after this game.
-Once game begins, the only real OOC area is outside in the parking lot. Consider everywhere we are allowed to go in the building (except the prop room and the bathroom) to be connected and IC. Hallways, stairs, boiler room, etc. Do not go outside to talk privately IC, find a secluded area and talk softly.
Nobody is losing a PC tonight. If you start getting anxious about stuff happening to your character, just relax and go with it. Trust me. This a light, story-driven night to escape from some of the PvP tension and bad mojo we've been dealing with lately. Take yourself out of survival mode for tonight and let yourself explore, roleplay, and have fun.
