Tonight, you become one of the Kindred, the beautiful and the damned who hide behind our ordinary world. Driven by a hunger like fire, you will struggle to maintain your humanity while immersed in a vicious society of monsters.
The sharks you swim with deadly. The Kindred are the smart, sexy vampires of pop culture, but cruelty is in the nature of kindred and Hartford is one of the most dangerous cities they hold. Why come here if doing so can be a detriment to immortality?
It makes you feel alive.

In light of recent events, characters may purchase (with staff approval) a new merit adapted from a different MET book for our purposes.
New Merit: Gemini League
your character is a member of a Secret Society dedicated to removing the influence of prominent European Elders from the region and utilize a superior understanding of the modern world's economy, coupled with espionage in order to do so. This organization exists in direct oposition to Justicar Warwick and other notoriously powerful kindred. Openly acknowledging membership is dangerous and can garner significant political opposition, or even get one killed.
System:A character with this Merit gains the benefits of membership in the Secret Society (detailed in its very own non-binding packet). Due to the nature of this secret, any character who is aware of your membership and leverages such membership against you in a scene (referring directly to your membership) may force you to bid an additional trait on all Mental and Social challenges, treating it just as if it were a Negative Trait. Characters exposed are often cut off or even killed in order to protect the League.

Citizens of the Domain of Hartford,
I hope everyone is finding themselves well this week.
As many of you are aware, the annual gathering in Baltimore is fast approaching; I will continue to be coordinating with Harpy St. Isaac in regards to RSVP’s and the like, so if you have not already RSVP’d yourself, you will need to do so – the deadline is March 6th - don’t hesitate to use me as your point of contact should she need to check in with your standing or have any questions. Additionally, if you plan on attending, you should check in with me and make sure that I have your current correct standing recorded.
Additionally, as many of you know, a Conclave was held recently in Ravenna. If any member of the Domain finds their status has fluctuated due to the docket items that were passed at this Conclave, please contact me so that we can, together, make sure you are represented as you need to be. Conversely, if you are not aware of these docket items and need some assistance understanding the Conclave’s results, you may contact me if your Primogen is unable to help you.
Finally, to my esteemed Primogen, should you have any need of me, please know that I am available anytime. This evening will be a very busy one, and should we not be able to speak with one another and anyone has any unresolved issues, I am more than happy to discuss them and make time for some one-on-one conversations. I can be reached at ((ooc: fiver.thyme@gmail.com))
Most Sincerely,
Rosamund Elise Kingsley

Good evening Hartford players!
In keeping with the usual continuity between local games we have decided to adapt the 30 trait cap rule again.
Also in addition to this we are going to allow you to add your ability score into your traits. This means you gain a benefit from having more in an ability than barely invested in one at all.
You may gain as many traits in a challenge as you have of the appropriate ability for the retest. Brawl when you are slap boxing or investigation when you are attempting to find what is hidden in the garbage can.
Look forward to seeing you all at the end of this month!
David
