Boston: Reclaimed
For years the city of Boston was claimed after its fall to the ancient and mysterious entities known as the Deava. During that time the Sabbat fled deeper into it established territory and waited for the night to reclaim what was theirs. After many years, and in 2020 the Sabbat lead a massive Crusade to reclaim the city. After many losses and blood spilt the city was there's once more.
Once returned home the sect was shocked to find a near mortal utopia. The city was devoid of any supernaturals and had appeared to have been for years. Now the sect slowly moves back into one of its shinning jewels in its blood empire. Sect members travel to the city with no ancient web of elder influence and connections. Each lookign to carve their own path and claim what power they desire. It is only a matter of time before the city of Bosotn becomes a dystopia and takes whatever form the various factions of the Sabbat decide it can be.

Tonight's Boston

I wanted to make a couple of statements about tonight's Boston Game as there have been some public and private concerns involving the events this past week in the real world.
First, the tragedies happened. Ignoring them would be equal, in my eyes, to recklessly making a plot about it. So neither will happen. We will not pretend it didn't happen, nor will we write any plots around, over, or through these tragedies.
Second, any actions relating to the tragedies, the bombings, the suspects, or remotely related events will not be accepted. They simply don't work. IC: There's just too much going on. Assume all influences are shut down by this as well as every major sphere is impacted.
Third, Any money made this month by Boston over site costs this month will be donated on behalf of the game to a reputable charity that is involved in or aiding the incident. (The most likely recipient is the Boston Marathon Charity itself to help with extra costs of security in years to come, but other ideas will be accepted.)
This tragedy hit the region, and the country, very hard. Our thoughts are with any family or friends we have in the area. Thank you to the players who live up there for regularly "checking in" to let us know you're okay.
We hope you'll join us tonight for a pulp Sabbat game of action and adventure.

House Rules Update

There have been a few minor updates to House Rules including the Free Ritae win rule, some clarifications on Soul Steal and Frenzy requested by players,and a couple of wording changes to some discipline house rules.
I've also included some Vinc rules I would like to try out.

Boston Policy on Charity "Retests"
February 12th, 2013
In the interest of consolidation, the following policy applies to charity retests (e.g. Batman, Sooper, Dodge, etc) in Boston:
- We will honor Retests brought in from the outside at a rate of 1 per challenge
- You must have the physical Retest Card to be eligible
- Said ticket must be turned in to an ST at the time of the challenge and will immediately be ripped by the ST to whom the ticket is handed
We will not sell the retests as a general rule. We have enough games in the area, and I'm certain at least one of them will offer the sale of the retests at the going rate. If you wish to contribute outside the charity to any cause that comes up, please contact privately and I'll send the details (or with an overwhelming number of requests, we'll post here)
