From the Seneschal

Good evening citizens of the domain of Hartford,
Last night Her Grace asked me to step up as her Seneschal, and after much thought and consideration I accepted. This led me to think on the position and responsibilities as I understand them and as the domain needs. Regardless of previous holders of the position and their policy and habits, every person is their own individual. Every position is handled with different perspectives and forethought then the previous holder of them. Thus I will do things differently then those who held the position before me.
Prince Angelize had requested that anyone who wished to speak with her should go through her officers. After further clarification, should you need to speak with her grace or arrange a meeting at the next gathering or before, contact me so I may assure you the time for her to meet with you. I will be in discussion with her grace over the next few nights so I may help with projects and resources in the domain. This is a great opportunity to have your voice heard.
I wanted to take this time of transition to let everyone know that I plan to have an open door policy. If you need to speak with me in regards to anything, I will take the time to listen and give you my full attention. This could be questions in regards to something you need to know, clarification of something said or done, observations or feedback that you have noticed. Even projects you have been working on that might need help or bolster in resources, I will maintain an open mind to as needed. Communication is important across the board and I'm hoping to help work on some of that with everyone.
Also, inspired by Her Grace last evening, I would like to present a question for everyone at the beginning of each gathering. My hope of this will spark open discussion in Elysium and at Gathers, as well as provide observations with anonymity if desired.
We have many things to handle within the domain, not the least of which is the up coming event. If possible I would encourage anyone who plans to attend or represent the domain to think how they wish to present themselves to those visiting. Have you been to the annual Glitter and Gloom? Have you visited Prince Sunny's Court in the Spring in California? What struck you as eventful, enjoyable and memorable? What didnt you like? No small idea is unwanted for the time comes quickly.
