- Trent Jackson approached Croc about Trent’s dead packmate, Lorenz Ortega, and about the occult connection to his murder. Croc relayed this information to the esbat, and several of them went to investigate. They discovered the ashes of Lorenz’s body amidst a smattering of unpoliced dark thaumaturgical accouterments, and they were able to get a supernatural glimpse at a hooded figure robed in black with a smoky face. They also learned that whatever this ritual was, it was only a small piece of it.
- A team investigated the strange tunnels beneath the region. Through trial and error, they discovered that the tunnels formed a ring and a pentagram, each of which were unconnected. The ring was filled with Tass, while the pentagram was filled with a bloody, shadowy substance which Jade was able to identify as an enormous Oubliette.
- A group investigating reports of a school bus full of children discovered that Antichris was attempting to repopulate his pack. A defunct daycare center was set aflame and the children were killed.
- After regrouping at Esbat, the empty warehouse on an island in the Quinnipiac River was attacked by a horde of animated zombies. After a cursory investigation, the Sabbat learned that the bodies had been animated from various cemeteries across the city, and that they had no memory of who or why they were summoned. When the bodies were interrogated about why they attacked the sabbat, they only knew that they felt drawn to the Sabbat as if possessed of some great anger.
- After dealing with the zombie attack, a group began furiously searching for the hooded figure from the reports of Lorenz’s murder. While unable to hone in on his exact location, they were able to narrow down the scope of their search to East Granby, north of Hartford. A Koldun was able to mystically spy on the ritual knife used in the Dark Thaumaturgy ritual that killed Lorenz, and they have narrowed down its location to a building in East Granby.
