Welcome to New Haven.

Worse than it's real world sister, New Haven in the World of Darkness is an awful, destitute city overrun with drugs, gang violence and police corruption. The jobless and uneducated whisper about urban legends of human trafficking and organ thieves. Every now and again, someone says they saw something but it's never long before that person stops talking about it or is found later. mutilated almost beyond recognition and left out for all to see in the morning. This is a place where everyone is afraid and no one makes it out.

The Packs

Elm Haven Dynasty - The pack has seen better nights. With the loss of their Ductus Snaptooth in an Monomancy years ago they have slowly fallen to the wayside as newer packs emerge and take over the city. The Ductus, Trent is a Toreador Antitribu on Path of Orion and some could say he will die soon to something he cannot fight.

Kool Kids - Made entirely of demented child embraces, this pack tends to unnerve even the most stone cold Sabbat in the city. They come and go as they please, often dragging along their hapless pet ghoul "Miss Teacher" and play ultra-violent Games of Instinct. Their Ductus is a mysterious Cainite named "AntiChris" who who is regarded by locals with a degree of infamy. In recent nights they have seen their numbers all but disapear due to actions taken in Hartford. Only two of them survived and they have started building their numbers back up once again.

Lickity Split Posse - Harkening back to the heights of ICP popularity, this pack of rejects has managed to corner much of the heroin game in New Haven and does surprisingly well for themselves. They're obnoxious and aggressive, comprised primarily of Brujah Antitribu and Tzimisce. Members of the pack carry a signature hatchet and tend to wear face paint to formal occasions, especially Monomacy.

The Midnight Ride - These Gangrel Antitribu and Panders keep watch of the train station. They're a loyal Sabbat pack with years of service. Unfortunately they had a feud amongst themselves a few years back and during a particularly trying time most the pack was destroyed. They are recovering still and have since buried the hatchet on the feud to help the Sabbat as a whole. 

The Shadow Aristocracy - Wealthy and powerful group of Cainites who were once tied to the former Archbishop Edward Rowlands. This pack is rarely seen since his betrayal, preferring to avoid what they consider sad remnants of the once glorious New Haven force. Their Ductus is Ramona Suarez, the daughter of a once infamous cartel who follows the path of Cathari.

 

The Others

The Zantosa Revenants - Owners of the most popular Esbat location in New Haven (Toad's Place), the Zantosa family keeps New Haven in good spirits, providing a wide assortment of part favors and generally looking out for the local Covens. As a rule they do not take sides in most Sabbat conflicts instead providing support for diplomatic solutions.

ooc: Etiquette, Politics, Sabbat Lore as needed for any mistakes Kat made.

In the short time I have been a Bishop of New Haven, I have seen Cainites behave in a manner for which there is no justification, a manner that is in violation of all the Sabbat holds dear. However, I have also seen Cainites step up to a multitude of challenges, in some instances knowing full well it may cost their life. I have seen Cainites aid their Brothers and Sisters to ensure that what must be done is done, and that it is done with no lives lost. In light of this, there are several Cainites who deserve recognition for their actions in recent nights.

 

 

Erik Acosta, you have been Relentless* in your drive to further the goals of the Sabbat, standing your ground against forces that would see you fall prey to their machinations, yet you have remained strong and come through the other side stronger and wiser for it.

 

Mara Vandal, your Insight* has been a boon to the Sabbat many a night, and this is recognition that is long overdue. Your knack for looking at a situation from a wholly different point of view and drawing connections that others miss has been a boon for your Brothers and Sisters.

 

Anael, your quick-thinking and Insight* likely saved more than one life at this past Esbat, something that should not be overlooked. Trust your instincts, they have not yet steered you wrong and have been an asset for you, your Pack, and the Sect at large.

 

Aurora Vance, your name is not unknown amongst the Sabbat. Those who know it are well aware of your capabilities and the force you can bring to bear. You have more than proven your Ominous* nature, and recent actions have only confirmed that as being well earned.

 

Vasyl, we have worked together on no small number of operations. Each and every time, you have shown yourself to be more than Adept* at reconnoitering, be it a singular location or multiple targets. Each and every time, you provide valuable information that would have otherwise been beyond our reach without significant risk.

 

Nara-Kai, your actions have demonstrated you to be a Cainite that is Respected*. When presented with an opportunity to aid the Diocese in the recovery of valuable information, you did so, and you ensured those who accompanied you did so as well.

 

Roxanne Vulpaire, when asked to aid the Diocese, you did not hesitate to do so, proving yourself to be a capable Cainite, and one who is worthy of our Respect*.

Hey guys, I know you are all busy but if someone would be awesome and post this up for me... Thanks) 
Brothers and Sisters of the Sword of Caine,


Thanks to the guidance of the collected Archbishops of New Haven, New York and Bridgeport we have obtained an important victory in retaking of Holy Land from the minions of the Antediluvians. This is the first step in a far greater push towards retaking Massachusetts.

With that I would like to acknowledge the work of some of our brothers and sisters in this effort:

As I am Proven let all see Erick Acosta as Militant for his for his possession of and for delivering the payload that lead us to a clean victory. 

As I am Feared let all see Malchom Tiernen as Relentless for his repeated infiltrations into the enemy stronghold to gather much needed intel. 

As I am Feared let all see Blixx as Dedicated for the aid he offered in planning and organizing the strike against holly land. 


In the wake of such a success we must not become lax in our efforts but use the momentum to move forward.  With that in mind next esbat, the Clergy would like to speak with all who hold the position of Ductus to go over the defense of New Haven against the growing outside threats.
